That's a very good offer for the banker, who is quite stingy because he expects you to be stupid. Of course, once he passed that up and was offered $573,000, his expected value was way higher at $750,075.25 so no deal at that point wasn't so bad an idea, he just got unlucky.

@urloldude there' re 26 boxes in each box theres a different amount of money. at the beginning the contestant choses one box that stays with him till the end of the game. then he has to say which one of the remaining boxes he wants to open each round. after several rounds some bankers give him offers he could take if he doesnt play on. the offer depends on the boxes that are still in the game ( if 250000 still theres thats good if not the offer gets lower for example)... thats it^^
