The "American Enterprise Institute" is one of many private terrorist groups operating around the world and in the USA. How many others can you name?
Let's try and identify all of them. It is so important we try and get past the "America" or "Israel" and pinpoint actual organizations who profit from war as an "ENTERPRISE". In this way we can hold individuals from private companies/organizations accountable and prosecute. It's too easy to blame America or Israel! Remember the Names.

US and Israel allies? The term "allies" presupposes that a treaty exists between the US and Israel and no such treaty exists. The reason is that treaties require strictly defined borders to be defended by the high contracting parties, which Israel doesn´t have and doesn´t want to have.....

Maj, the terrorist is the one who uses fear and intimidation by any means necessary to affect change for their cause. You can use a bomb, or you can use an embargo, or you can use a military invasion, or propaganda, or fear mongering. These are ALL weapons in the arsenal of terrorism. Take a minute or two to see whether or not the side your fighting on employs any or most of these tactics. Of course, do so objectively, something you are most likely incapable of.

Chomsky: The United States considers Hizbullah a terrorist organization, but the term terrorism is used by the great powers simply to refer to forms of violence of which they disapprove. So the U.S. was of course supporting the Israeli invasions and occupation of southern Lebanon. Hizbullah was instrumental in driving them out, so for that reason they are a terrorist organization.

Of course China's defending itself thus, by the one percent doctrine. We've made it clear a long time ago that the lives of civilians in other countries aren't nearly as important as the lives of civilians in ours--even if they had nothing at all to do with even remotely "supporting terrorism." In the attempt to guarantee absolute safety--the last one-half-of-one-percent chance--it doesn't matter how many hundreds of thousands of them get killed. Not to mention there's a LOT of money in it.

Factually, it is true, I think, that there are probably millions of Americans who really _don't_ care how many people get killed in the pursuit of absolute safety for us--a goal that of course is no more than a receding chimera and a further incitement to attack us back. Maybe if we try really hard we can get into hundreds of years of "gotcha back."

Defense is legitimate but the resort to force has to be justified and it is clearly not since there are means available to address specific security concerns, peaceful means which Israel is legally required to try and it is absurd to insist carrying out aggression is simply "existing" and that position must be "defended" WHY move families INTO the occupied territories?!

Moving Israelis into the West Bank is an attempt to reset the 1967 borders. But Arabs have been sitting on there hands since 1948.

What has always most impressed me about Chomsky, besides his incredible grasp of the topics he discusses, is his ability to explain it in with great attention to detail while doing so in a way that anyone who cares to listen can easily digest. And you never feel like he's talking down to you.

The British press is slightly better than what's offered in the U.S. but they are still extremely biased. Hell even the BBC which is supposed to be the an objective source run by public funding refused to report the facts in both the Georgian invasion of South Ossetia, and the last Israeli incursion into the occupied territories. What little came out in the form of truth was weeks after the fact. I know you love Israel and think they are infallible, but seriously get a life and stop trolling.
