We can be crazy when fight this boss. This isn't really hard. It seems to be easier than the original one, but this is good, fuck yes. I like it a lot.
I was actually given the specific co-ordinates from a friend of mine and I unfortunately no longer have them. I know the SCHG on Sonic Retro has the co-ordinates for objects and from there it's a matter of trial and error. Sorry I can't help you further.
What was? If you are referring to the edit I've made being easy to play, then let me assure it's not. I re-recorded the video several times and took advantage of the fire sheild as much as possible. If anything, I was considering lowering the difficulty slightly.
Because there isn't a working disasembly of Sonic3K currently available to do these things. If this were Sonic 1 or 2 then I could, but it's not. I'm just doing the best I can with the tools available.
Yes, because that explains the slowed down music with lower pitch which used to be the sub boss music, Sonic moving at normal speed and the boss attack pattern as different... I dunno what made you think that but no, I didn't just speed up the video.
You know, I just realized something: Lava Reef's boss is a lot like the 3rd boss in Rocket Knight Adventures. The attack patterns are almost exactly the same. :P
Nonetheless, I really like what you've done to the boss. It definitely looks more challenging. :D
whow whow... wait, wait, you changed the number of bomb things robotnik throws out on one side, to a higher amount? impresive, you're getting better at this =D
Well, I also made the delay between the bombs longer and made him jump out higher. That and the platforms are increasing in speed, which is obviously something you don't get to experience originally.

Does the 1-up monitor appeared in the real game?

No, I added it into this hack. I know I've kind of given it away in this video but that doesn't mean people will remember by the time it's released.

@SonikkuHedgehog How did you edit the music? I wanna know!
MegaJohnization 9 months ago
With a hex editor. I just changed the pitch values after locating them with the help of a music guide on Sonic Retro

If you can and if it's okay can I get a copy of the download or gett the link to it?

I'm not providing a link or downlaod until it's finished. And that is a long way off. Unfortunately you'll just have to wait.

That music sounds slower, howsat?
And that is practically cruel without the fire shield. But still looks quite fun.
jakeyboy909 2 years ago
The music is slower and slightly lower in pitch intentionally. I edited it slightly in hex.

Not Bad, It would be hard without that fireshield
