It is the Cook Strait ferry from Picton to Wellington in New Zealand. I live in Picton New Zealand. It is the ship Suilvan. The company operating her is Blue Bridge Shipping or as it was Strait Shipping.
This is filmed atthe Wellington Harbour heads. Cook Strait is known as one of the roughest straits in the world and claimed the ferry "Waihine" in a 1968 cyclone after the ship hit Barret's Reef and disabled her steering.
Vessel is the 'Suilvan' ex Caledonian Mcbrayne RoRo ferry. Video was shot whilst departing Wellington New Zealand in a SW gale. Vessel now trading in Fiji.
This is not a Marine Atlantic vessel and this video was not taken in Newfoundland. Look at the company logo on the funnel and it isn't the Marine Atlantic logo. I think it might be from the Cook Strait in New Zealand in Feb. 2002 (M/V Sulliven?).
Good ride....)))

It would look better if that giant penis wasn't sticking out of the funnel.

The video should be renamed or removed as the title is wrong.
