this movie was made with 15,000 dollars budget so b aware i wont say its good or bad its just not as is promoted like the scariest thing in u life it's almost a monologue except that they r two the dude n the chick

i saw it yesterday n here r the facts its acting not real ok...its a mix of blair witch and the exorcist its kind a homevideo in hd goes from slow to high 50 sec at the end more or less.Its scary?not at all unless u really get into the story n forget that it isnt real but most people inside the theater were screaming at specific times in the movie n scared

Was it good? Yes Over-hyped? Yes. Calling it this generations Exorcist is a stretch (In my opinion, so don't write me.) Some people in the theater were actually disappointed when it ended "Aww that's it?". I liked it for what it was, just like I liked the Blair Witch Project for what it was.
Your not doing yourself any favors by watching the trailers. I'm just giving you a realistic review so this film doesn't suffer bad reviews by people expecting it to make them go to church in the morning.

I agree with with you, over hyped. Please don't compare this film with the Exorcist, still the most terrifying movie of all time.

Yeah, there's actually a show called paranormal activity and, after seeing so many shows based on the paranormal, this move was a good compilation of what people say they see. I mean, it's good, but if you've seen a lot of shows like this, it's alright--maybe a little cliche at the end. I just hope there aren't sudden floods of more shows focusing on ghosts or books and movies because of this. Like Twilight..and all of those vampire shows and books coming through.

I saw this last night at midnight. To say the audience was freaked out is putting it lightly. The part where the sheets were moved slightly by the paranormal presence actually got a lot of screams. The door moving slightly got a lot of screams. They sounded like they were all about to go into cardiac arrest. This movie will seriously thrill even the most jaded horror fan. At the end it received three ovations from the horrified audience. It is the scariest movie in years.
