  • @brabrown30brabrown30 This is the real perfor acne if it wasn't for this the version we love wouldn't have been made

  • Erm, not to be holier than thou, but c'mon, guys, don't hate - there wouldn't be Repo! had it not been for this... I just wish I could see the whole thing, especially Terrance's bits <3

  • screw this I think Ill watch the real preformince

  • i love the movie

  • this is silly. could have been done better

  • I believe anthony head killed it compared to Curt here haha, so glad they gave it to lionsgate to re create into a cinema

  • Wow... I don't know how they were allowed to make a movie out of this... But I'm so glad they were.

  • there seems to be very little emotion in this :/

  • Genterns certainly got better.

  • interesting... definitely interesting... though i don't think i particularly like this Nathan, he seems like he's about to curl in a corner and slit his wrists.

  • wow. thank god for the movie version. it relieves me that repo! did not have to end in this form...

  • amazing! when you've seen Repo a 100 million times, you appreciate something different. this was the birth of Repo! poor aucustics and super low budget, but this is one of the most dramatic songs/scenes in the movie and this guy's voice is goooood. no comparision to ASH of course, but consider where they are and what they had to work with

  • I don't know what you guys are talking about, But this is fuckin' awesome!

  • Oh well. That's freakin' ridiculous in proportion to the movie... -_-" I'd like to laugh, but it hurts so much. These were the most horrible 3 minutes in my life.

  • @darkmuffinX3 You know instead of mocking it why dont you appreciate repos humble beginnings? it had to start some where you know.

  • i dont mean to be mean, but O GOd my ears! It's not even singing, its wailing.

  • boring!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • *Shovel dance move* LMAO!!!!

  • he squeses that chicks ass

  • i slightly like this one better.

  • The reason this one is SO BAD is because it's terribly low-budget.

  • im just not feeling it as much as the movie they could have gotten better girl to sing as genterns plus hotter

  • Umm.... it's wierd, dosent sound very much like repo, acting's a little flat

  • this sucked movie is better

  • wow, so glad i watched the movie before the play or i would have thought it was this bad =/

  • I keep watching this Nathan and all I think is that he looks like a young Herbert West.

  • ...

    What's with the dancing?

It's good and funny, but it doesn't quite fit...

  • i think in this version nathan is supposed to be sort of a whimp coz' in another song from this version the genterns were pushing him around

  • It was actually ASH's idea to give Nathan DID, so it's probably why this guy's not giving it his all.

(At least that's what I've heard, anyways. The REPO boards are a very reliable source, though.)

  • and im sorry but did he grab that woman's ass @ 1:07??

  • @PurpleDuctTapeFTW yes....did you hear him say "and do your ass like dishes"? that's kinda...how...it fits. but slightly creepy

  • theres no way of telling the difference between Nathan and the repo man with this guy. He looks the part but he needs to put way more emotion into it.

  • lol!!.....the movie and shadow play are way better than this crap

  • i have to admit, it's pretty cool.

  • Oh wow...Well...There's a lack of anger that ASH bring more to light...but what with the budget and all, this is actually pretty good. The guy playing Nathan does have a nice voice, but his portrayal of the Repo Man is too sad and not frightening in the stage play. But it is the original, and things were yet to be fleshed out back then.

I'm sorry, but the choreography made me laugh.

  • Agreed, That dancing was quite comical It didn't fit the music or the lyrics.

  • I like this guy's take on Nathan-- not as good as ASH, but a different take. But maybe the Repo Man lines could've used a bit more malice in them.

  • Not that bad compared to some things. Give them some credit. Without this we wouldn't have the finished product.

  • I LOVE This Song,But I Really Don't Like The Guy That's Doing Nathan Here. I Just Don't Think He Gave It Enough Emotion. I Think This Is A Really Important Part For Nathan And that Guy Just Didnt Really Pull It Off.

  • I agree completely with FD3Freak, this guy's voice was too "nice" for the part and it often wavered into something that is almost inaudible. I agree, however, that he could have a pretty decent voice if he took professional lessons and learned to control breathing as he ran out of breath too much during the song.

  • Wow. You guys are really sad. This is one of the original versions of it, and without it, the movie wouldn't exist. So you should probably stop putting it in a bad light. And about it being too schizo... its supposed to be! Nathan is dealing with an internal battle between his role as a father, and as the repo man.

And just because it isn't highly choreographed doesn't mean its bad. It was obviously good enough to become a cult hit. right?

  • i love the fim and i just had a vison of the stage and it was nothing like this im not being harsh the dancing was tacky and the sining and one of the most importent hings was they didnt commit to it but itsits hard to live up to an amazing film comperd to a low buget stage preformac but i liked it !!!

  • THIS is the orginal?!!

  • terrible, I can sing this song better than that guy, I mean sure hes ok but some parts wernt even his lines to sing, and the movie blows this out of the water, no, the dimension

  • Nathan's clothing is soo mcuh better now...

And what is this,...showtune dancing about??!!

    JAZZ HANDS??!!

  • at 1:25 wtf are the genterns and repo men doing?

  • I agree. This is a good performance considering they are on a low budget. But where is Pavi and Luigi?

  • I'm afraid to ask but...Maybe this is the original one. Too eschizoprenich tough. More than in the movie.

  • Well to everyone who is making fun of the stage play, you need to understand how low of a budget the stage play had. Plus this was the first time they had ever done a live version, so it's not going to be perfect. The movie, I'll agree, was much better than this, but the stage play is also great.

  • My brain imploded, have you seen the movie?

    *grey matter on the wall*

  • ..Is this for serious?

  • ..........................................lol.

  • the dancing in the background just makes this scene hilarious, no matter how serious it's meant to be

  • I agree. I love this scene in the movie, but it's cool to see how it started in the stage version...silly as it may look.

The absence of the Largo men and the more simple music also makes this great, because it helps one to appreciate how far REPO! has gone since then.

  • I actually like that the Largo's aren't in this version, it puts more focus on the inner struggle that Nathan has.

And yeah, this movie has come so far from the small clips of stageplay we've seen, it's quite amazing.

But, really, I cracked up at 1:25. That choreographer needs to be fired.

  • REMEMBAAAAH WHOY YOU AAAAAARH (8)

    You've gotta lol, dude.

  • Okay. So, this was really low budget. So... yeah. Heh.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

    Ahem.

    Movie.

  • I know that on stage some things are more exaggerated, but the genterns................ yea....... I like them better in the movie. That coreography was just weird.............

  • ok this is funny...

the movie version is way better

  • @alynajno1fan hell yeah

  • This was a great movie

  • I think the movie version is way better

  • have you any more footage of the stage show?

    ^_^

  • i cant wait for the movie....

  • There are so few videos I can find with the atual stage version audio. Or the stage version at all, for that matter.

Do you know how the show ends? I can't find a proper synopsis at all.

  • I'm pretty sure that Nathan dies in the end and Shilo is "free".
