  • Horrible bike set up, seat too low and seat to forward. Add resistance, bouncy...gonna hurt yourself.

  • This is awful form! ADD RESISTANCE! Her seat is also too low, you should have some bend in your knees but not this much. Her seat is also too far forward, her knees come over her toes, which shouldn't happen. Her body bounces all around the place. If you are new to spinning, please please look at a better place to learn proper form. I am surprised that this woman hasn't hurt herself!

  • Having lost 6lbs in the first week, i would say spinning wonderfully works. i don't feel like jogging on a treadmill for an hour because i felt that my ankles and knees got hurt, but I could do it right on my indoor bike. From the sweat i got from spinning, i think it's a really strong sport.

  • i think it's mainly about using the resistance and not always sitting in the seat. I used my moms cycling bike and just used my music as a way to gauge when i should go hard and when not, and i was sweating in 15 minutes. you definitely sweat and feel it, but its really awesome though.

  • Anybody who thinks spin is useless isn't doing it right. It's one of the best workouts you can get for fat burning per hour. Take it from someone who knows. I saw very noticeable results after doing 45 minute spin classes three times per week with heavy resistance, jumps etc........

  • really bad, you´r bounce like a "flubber", the bar is not locked.

  • @RedTACS - Flubber cause the exercise does nothing.

    I think "spinning" has to be the most useless workout there is.. Treadmills would be more effective, or even walking/jogging. Im a fit guy, and even I feel my abdominals tighten up when I walk or jog. When I tried spinning I didnt really feel a damn thing, except my legs a tiny bit. Which again, useless compared to other workouts.

  • @xDilutedx Really dude my soccer team did spin class for an hour.....it really killed us man!

  • @IsaacLungu - Its kills, but I find it does nothing for weight loss or maintaining weight, or really getting toned. Mainly just legs, somewhat. But for legs, I would rather run, outside or a treadmill during winter.
