@estace1 thank you so much for your kind words. You know, about 10 years ago all I could think about was playing the part of Sal in a movie. But even then they were giving the part to some kid from American Pie. So just looking and sounding like him isn't enough. So here's my hope for the movie: I hope it's entertaining. Sal was an amazing soul, and he was brave and a champion for the gay community. He deserves to be remembered and celebrated.
@ogunay I am a big fan of Sal's ..He was a great actor that I think never got the roles after the 1950s that could have furthered his career ..He had tremendous charisma . When I saw your youtube video i was taken back for a minute...great job..

james franco is writing/directing a new movie on sal mineos life... if u still look the same then maybe you could find a way to get it to him, if you have an agent or something! would rather see you play him then shia labeouf who probably will end up taking the role..
@b1tchlizard oh wow, that's awesome. thanks for the compliment, but nah, I'm in my 30's now, so they'd need somebody younger to play him. I'm almost the age that Sal was when he died. I love James Franco. I think he'd make a good Sal Mineo himself.
@ogunay I never heard of Franco until you mentioned him..I just checked him out and I don't think he looks anything like Sal or projects his persona but i could be wrong...If you did the role it would be almost Sal playing himself.

Great job...Dino was always one of my favorite films. I have a VHS copy that I taped from a Philly t.v. station a long time ago, and I have on DVD the original Studio One version that was shown on t.v. a year before the theatrical film was made. Anyway...beautiful job, brother!!
