Americans recognize this tune as the KIngsford charcoal commercial tune. It was the background music to a cool TV commercial a couple of years ago. Colin James never gets playtime in the USA and once Americans get to know him, they are impressed by his talent. Another Canadian artist who never gets playtime in the USA is Amanda Marshall. What's wrong with their recording companies and publicists?
by far one of the best guitarists to come out of Canada, if not the best.........he did this in my town one night, talking about he wrote this for SRV when he heard about the crash, and did a SRV melody which broke into "Speechless" it was amazing!
You're comments in the info too funny.. I so agree.. the downfalls of filming a live concert I'm afraid! Happens to me all the time, people bumping me as well.. LOL I certainly can identify!! ;)
Filthy strat tone!

Those girls should have been fired out the side door by security. They think they are the show, no respect.

I've heard him do this live....was sick. The only difference is he stayed more close to the album version when I heard it, like practically note on.
He seems to be able to do it all....sing and play guitar.....awesome guy, purely underrated in my opinion.

I don't know why this song never took off like any other great blues tune. It is as good as anything done by the blues greats.

I love this song "Speechless" from the Bad Habits CD - 1995. In my opinion, Colin James is one of our best guitarists from Canada!

This was a tribute to Jeff Healy, who he replaced as headliner. A great night.
