I'm going to have to agree.. Polaris rangers are horrible! I owned one for two years and it was in the shop half the time. I just got rid of it a month ago. So glad it's gone. It felt like a toy. I just bought an rtv and this thing is a tank. Time will tell how it holds up but so so I'm happy with it. Only complaint is the top speed.
the kubota RTV has been around just as long if not longer than the rhino personally the kubota out performs the rhino any day... most of the rhinos i have seen are more toys than anything... drive them around in the bush and hunt with them thats about it kubota's do that on their day off they are meant to work and work hard...

Alright yeah, it has been around longer, but NO WAY it would out perform the rhino.. not in a million years. It would smoke it performance wise considering the kubota is meant for labour, and with a track kit the rhino could do everything the kubota can and more..
like you said the kubota is a work vehicle not a toy... hence why it doesnt need independ suspension and a zippy transmission hydrostatic vs. geared... but your also going based on this video, in the video they show an older model RTV against a newer rhino... they've made some changes over the years in my eyes the kubota will still out work and perform a rhino any day... a kubota with the right tires can perform just as well...
Yeah you clearly don't know what your talking about.. it has hydrostatic power steering.. but if you are comparing variable transmission with ultramatic.. still gets out performed
I have to Disagree, I think the Kubota is a 900 Single cylinder? The cylinder is tooo big, They should make it a 450 TWIN then it would compete with the rhino. Although the rhino is a single, It also has better engineering, The kubota was made for work Around the Farm/Hunting. The Rhino was made for Mudding/Fun/Some models working, with tipping bodys.
Exactly...I've ridden in the all except the Kubota and the Cub Cadet. I hate admitting this...but the Polaris Ranger is FAR superior to any that I have personally ridden in...in almost every way. SURE there are a lot of aftermarket parts for the Rhino...but it's much more unstable, cheap feeling, rough riding, etc. than the Polaris. You nailed it on the head...the Rhino, Terex, etc. are toys....the Kubota, Polaris Ranger, etc. are work horses.
Well i have two of the poalris rangers including the 6x6. Perhaps i got a couple lemons. However they were always in the repair shop.
I switched to the cub cadet volunteer and never once have they seen the repair shop. I've had the Kubota rtvs in my line of rental vehicles and they are reliable.
My local polaris dealer bought one of my cub cadets and uses it around his business . Covered up the names with duct tape though.
@cobalt120 at the local polaris shop here they went to honda in 1998 and bought a 300 4x4 4wd. when i asked em why they were buying it the kid who came to pick it up told me it was for towing the broke ones around because they were tired of having to fix there shop 4 wheeler every time they put a strain on it! iv owned 2 polaris atvs ( 425 magnum 4x4 and 250 4x4) and they were both hunks of crap. ride for 10 minutes and work on it for 10 days.
Edit "so so" I meant so far.

What does that say for Polaris. Nothing good.
