  • CACO DE TIJOLAÇO!

  • I hear the in the video saying "oitcho um" what is tha mean? eighty seven? I hear too "esta bola ninguiem batie" , can you translate to us?

  • where is he now?

  • auehaueh, Goro Shigenooo!!!

  • na man im in middle school eighth grade if this guy dosent have a curve ball or an off speed pitch even the kids in my league would smash him

  • @sullivanyankee2 come on man you are really going to tell me a little shit like you and your league is really going to crush this guy. give me a break

  • eu to no infantil do gecebs de beisebol ja fui paa seleçao 3 vezes la em toquio ganhei premio de melhor pitcha

  • Way to paint the corners!

  • what did he do to improve his velocity??

  • The only reason why he's a prospect is cause he's tall 87 isn't shit major league hitters would tear him apart

  • @pitbullbaseball i agree with u... u have 5'7 people hitting 88, but noone cares bout them.

  • @robert33182 hmmm..you are wrong...if you are really good you go far , it doesn't matter how tall you are.....5'7 people hitting 88????..... If they are 18 they will play college D1 baseball for sure...It's not usual seeing a 5'7 pitcher in the Majors...why? simply because small people don't develop the required amount of strenght to throw mid-90's....But if a 5'7 pitcher is more consistent and has better pitches than a 6'5 , scouts will get the 5'7 one for sure :))

  • hey man, maybe in the states yea, but here in canada, its not like that. Ive seen guys who are 6'7 and throw like 85 mph, get scouted just cuz they are big and have potential. Im 6' i throw 89mph and i have no been scouted... if i was 6'4 people would look atm e differently.. trust me here in canada scouts are garabage and do not know where to look. In the states its prob different.

  • Watch that release point

  • Wish i could throw that fast .-.

  • wow!... but this is 93 mph???

  • @wingkhe

He isn't pitching 93 in this vid, but he can NOW, as in present.

  • post a new one of him throwing now

  • he sinks down when he wants to throw low. Check it out at the beginning

  • i see exactly where you're coming from

  • opening his frontside to early,

  • Good stuff, Gabriel! Great mechanics, can't wait to see you at the top!

  • Onde o gabriel e o renato estão jogando hoje em dia?

  • 93 and LEfty Pretty Fucking Good

  • he's fucking 22 years old... That descent

  • True, But not many Lefties throw that hard , So think about it

  • Yes almost every lefty I have faced so far in college ball throws upper 80's to lower 90's consistantly and those are 18-22 year olds.... Thats the norm.

  • So then why are u saying it like if he wasnt throwing Above Average Lefties when he obviously is lol

  • if he has 93 mph goro shigeno has 155 mph.

  • Not at this video... "smart".

  • You're awesome.

  • this kid has good mechanics

  • it doesnt look like 84 from where the camera angle was but its probably right......

  • he's so fluid

he whips his arm very good

  • His mechanics resemble Roger Clemens. The only difference is that this kid isn't on steroids, and is even better, HE'S A LEFTY.

  • He is an excellent pitcher, I've seen him

  • looks good, im also a lefty. check out my video. feedback from anybody is appreciated

  • sub to my page. i give instruction about a cheap way to gain velocity using resistance cords.

    7thinningstretchTV

  • How old is this kid?

  • Gabriel is 21 now, but this video was taken in May 2004...

  • thts pretty gud right around were im throwing 86mph

  • that doesnt look 87-90 its probably around 84 but its still good speed

  • Radar gun got 87 mph at that ocasion in 2004.

  • nice! what steps did he take to get int the 90's

  • Gabriel and his brother Renato trained with Juan Yanez (a Cuban baseball coach) from 2003 to 2005. Physical preparation and balanced diet were also important.

  • good job keep it up

  • good man... Good Speed

  • that doesnt look like 87 from that angle...

my guess is that its around 84-85

  • Good eyes... but a good radar gun doesn't lie.

fyi, now is 96 mph = professional tryout next summer!

  • interesting...hope he doesnt blow out his arm or anything. whoops knock on wood

  • Do an update video. I definitely want to see that!

  • great mechanics dude!

  • your arm hurts dont lie
