I'm iffy on this one. It's a cool theme, but this version is a bit too slow. It's almost wierdly mellow at parts, especially the verse. And "mellow" is NOT an adjective one wants anytime Getter is on screen.
D's version pulled it off nicely, even in 8-ish-bit.

You all do realize that there is a non canonical Getter Emperor that is universe sized and fucking smashes a goddess the size of ttgl into a galaxy right? Just by changing into normal emperor which is planet sized, it can bring about the power of a big bang. Hell in the manga Shin Getter BLEW UP Jupiter with a single Stoner Sunshine. Now imagine non canonical which is a shit ton stronger then both shin getter and normal emperor combined, using Shin Shine Spark. TTGL would lose.
@Mickothebest The fact that they're in the same game (and the fact that Kamina and Ryo become friends) just makes it even more awesome than an actual crossover fight.

The Guren Lagann fanbase claimed that Kamina is a badass but the Getter fanbase claimed that the Getter Team is more badass than Kamina and this might be my inner Getter fanboy speaking but a giant drill, seriously? The Getter team used drills before it was even cool. No offense, I like them both but I like Getter Robo more.
How could they destroy the universe if Simon was shown to be an old man? It doesn't matter if the universe is somewhere else if the Emperor is capable of space and time travel since he could just absorb it wherever it is. I figure it only sent the universe somewhere else. Not destroyed it. But like I said the Emperor absorbs naturally. Not that he has to accomplish something but because he never has a choice even when there is no one to fight. He get's like Galactus who is always hungry.
@PSNghettoflamingo1 Even getter if it takes part in the fusion into the Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, so that that flaming god looks a little more like Ryouma.
@ChReNiC You know I would say that if they do put the emperor then we would have to know how strong he is based on how much he absorbed. He technically is the strongest mech depending on how much he absorbed. And even alone he might be the strongest anyways since in his three getter machines alone made enough energy for a big bang. And calling his name causes the universe to quake.
@VegetaTheInsanity On the other hand, and talk about absorption, the Tengen Toppa Lagann alone absorbed the energy of the Big Bang Storm thanks to Lordgenome fusing with it, so that PLUS all the other Tengen Toppa Ganmen's energy made the Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Of course, not counting any added energy from bursting through other galaxies. Besides, we're talking Spiral Energy here, AKA Fighting spirit. As long as they have ass to kick their energy is infinite.
@ChReNiC Spiral energy is evolution. It's concept was taken from Getter Rays (which are the essence of evolution but sentient)! The creator of Gurren Lagann was and probably is still a huge Getter fan. And I'm speaking factual here. Not about my own fantasies of who is more kick ass. Factual is two galaxies together really don't make a big bang. But factual is if the machines name alone has the power to quake a universe. I think that trumps it when his name alone is as powerful as a big bang.

The only definite way for him to lose to the super tengen toppa gurren lagann is if lagann destroyed all planets in the universe since getter can easily absorb one or a thousand depending on how much he already did. His first form alone was stronger than the three machines that made him up so he was already strong enough to destroy a universe.

But like I said we would need the Emperor to have be either an enemy or an unseen force mentioned since he is naturally an enemy to things that live since he absorbs everything. If they were to fuse then who knows whether the fused being would take that part of its nature and absorb as well.
@VegetaTheInsanity In case you didn't notice; they Super Tengen Toppa Giga Drill Break'd the universe they were in, sucking it into the tip of the drill. It's not like they have a choice on just undoing everything around them.
@KingBoswer Well Goh didnt play to big a role till after the world ends in Armageddon , You will see the new crew in the next game though so for the fans of the 1st Getter team will have to wait a long time to see them in the new game.
