Lorrie Morgan has always had a voice like an angel. She is so beautiful and talented. This song is so sad and huanting. I remember when her husband died. Thanks for the post and the memories.
she is the total package, she has a phenominal voice and is just a stunningly beautiful woman. 90's country bombshell !!! check out "Bombshell" on her album, "Show Me How".
wow signature series..lol been awhile aint it.. back when life was so much simpler and pure compared to the times were living in now.. lorrie such a beatful lady and a great voice,,
I've seen Lorrie 17 times in concert, and hearing her passion as she performs this song live never fails to move me...she is the shining light in country music, with the voice and face of an angel.

Just happened to see your response. You know it s so sad that most people have to have an opinion without knowedge. This song is about people that love. It s a song for everyone. Straight, gay or bi. Who relly cares I sure don t. Love is love. Loss is loss. It s brings joy and it brings hearbreak. So God bless you. I hope you re doing okay now. Give me a message back. I d like to know.
Where you say she has a flawless face I agree however I say she has a flawless voice, especially if you listen closely, it is priceless. Her tone, her vibrato, her clarity, is stunningly perfect.
OMG i love this song. it was written by an old friend, the late great Scott Mateer. he wrote this song before keith whitley died. it is eerie to watch since Scott is no longer with us. we miss you Scotty.
This song came out after the loss of her husband. She also did another song that was used by the Gaither Vocal Band in their Blue Grass Video Series, I saw that video by her but have not found it here on Youtube.
Was introed to this song around 1990, I think, on late night drives home from work. Heard it one night, especially struck by the key change leading into or at the end of the chorus (at 1:11, 1:46 and 2:13 especially, as well as the instrumental 2:13 thru 2:26). But the WHOLE song, as well as her voice (and her herself!) is incredibly beautiful. After I'd first heard it, heard it again -- again driving home -- a couple of weeks later, and that was it. Have LOVED it since. Thanks!
A local dj here, Scott Mateer, wrote this song. He was nominated for a Grammy for this song. He also was in the song Operation:Mindcrime by Queensryche. Unfortunately he passed away from diabetes in Dec. of 2006.
I have always loved that first album that she did for RCA and this song remains my favourite of all her work. I had no idea that the writer Scott had sadly passed away so thank you so much for letting me know. Brian

Great song, and overall not a bad video, but I don't think that's Lorrie's best look. That ill-fitting T-shirt looks a little stupid.

I bought the cd for this song, and fell in love with Lorrie Morgan and her music. The 90's answer to Tammy Wynett.
