I think you are exaggerating slightly....to say the least...lol But, in this recent election, more than half the Canadians disagreed with you. They won another mandate but a minority government and, they won a minority government against Stephane Dion...not a majority. I believe that says a lot.
It says that Canadians are continuing to reject the Liberals in favour of the Conservatives by strengthening their mandate. In a 4 party system it's very hard to win a majority. Remember the government is ruled by the Prime Minister, not the accumulation of opposition parties
Harper is the man. Hes on a moral/ethical level which is seen well. (not cbc's take)
If you dont think this guy is a great PM you are far to brain washed and gone from rational thinking. If this is the case i suggest you stop watching lefty news which is out for there own gain.
C'mon sweety, there aren't enough people like you who can hold an intellectual discussion online like we did in the comments for my other video, please don't descend into that type of goofy rhetoric :)
"Is this weak french man playing with a full deck, he's supporting an Al-Qaeda terrorist. Dion, you will never be PM of Canada."
You have to look at it this way:
The Lie-berals are so desperate for supporters that they let in all these muslim and sikh-frikh terrorists (and their families) just to get some votes (besides from the few retards among the Canadian population).
Stephane Dion is so desperate to become PM of Canada, that he called upon Stephen Harper last week to lobby the U.S. to free Omar Khadr from Guantanamo Bay, so the Al-Qaeda suspect may face justice in civilian courts ?? Dion stated, "It's not a matter of polls, it's not a matter of public opinion, it's a matter of rights." Is this weak french man playing with a full deck, he's supporting an Al-Qaeda terrorist. Dion, you will never be PM of Canada.
"Prime Sinister Harper"... "Lie-beral Party"... heh. Did you portmanteau-producing poetic prodigies make these up by yourselves? Good intellectual hustle, people.
The Globe and Mails leftism is second only to the CBC (but not by much).. Legseam your just some liberal idiot trying to convince the stupid vote that there both not
Montrealman, if you think the Globe and Mail is Liberal, then you are truly nuts (I've noticed you seem to live on youtube). Why then does the Globe always endorse the Tory candidate and has for over a century!?!?
I agree with you on that point. In my community, that message has been repeated much. Curing AIDS is not easy. Preventing oneself being infected is, at least relatively.
Smart political move to wait until he draws premature criticism and then, I'll admit, make fools of his opposition with a huge donation. That's clearly what was done. The problem with that is the undoubtedly large number of AIDS victims which perished while Harper was asserting sovereignty over icebergs.
How many Canadians died of AIDS between the concert and this announcement? 20? Of those 20, how many would have died anyway in that time? 19?
The government has done it's part. It's now time for Canadians do to theirs. DON'T use intravenous drugs. DON'T have unprotected sex. AIDS is almost completely avoidable if you don't engage in risky behaviour. It's time to stop booing Stephen Lewis off the stage and start wearing rubbers!
Its not up to the government to keep you from sticking a needle in your vein, or having unprotected sex. I'll admit that some cases have come as a result of blood transfusions, but the vast majority of cases of AIDS are because of lifestyle decisions. Do you want a government employee to slap a rubber on you every time you decide to screw around? That is just liberal/socialist ideology that tries to take the responsibility of the individual and place it on the state.
you guys notice that there are not a ton of anti-conservative rants/comments(yet) attached to this interview. i think people were shocked to hear reasoning, maturity and thought and actually see that this is a man who wants to really improve this country.
If someone posts a thoughtful argument against any of my videos, I allow it. If it's mere trolling like "Conservatives are stoopid!!!!11!!!1eleven11!!" then I delete it. My videos typically attract that kind of nonsense from clearly intellectual lefties, but for the most party no lefty dares comment on this vid.
You'll never be happy, Gill, suppose Harper was able to shit golden eggs for you at your demand. $111 million is a big chunk of change and should go a long way towards AIDS research. I know you're upset it was a Conservative and not a Liberal who did it, but give your head a shake if you can't admit this was a good announcement.
Gill is probably one of those people that ran around at election time saying Harper's evil army is coming to destroy us. lol please. SplattoMan is right if the Liberal's actually did something in those 13years he would perhaps be talking a storm about how great they are.
Yay Harper! Go man go! You've really run a great and dignified campaign. You're awesome!

When people engage in risky behaviour like needs and unprotected sex, they shouldn't cry about not enough funding into AIDS prevention.
