  • @lesjunkmail - sorry for your loss too. This place is called GRA Canada and is located in Tillsonberg Ontario.

  • where was the place that you got her at because me and my mom are trying to get a greyhound again and srry for yur lost we had a greyhound named pixie rae chandanais an she died march 6th 2011 she had somthing in her heart and it exploded

  • I have been to that farm three times now. Always so hard to not bring them all home! We just picked up a 2 year old male and a 8 year old girl and they are just a blast! Bill and all of his volunteers are great people for taking on such a wonderful task bring these animals over to good homes!

  • @Frostman182 They do work tirelessly and their work results in wonderful animals being placed in loving homes.

  • A muzzel is not nescessary. I have got three ex-racing greyhounds none of them wear a muzzel not even when they are let of leash in the large fenced in paddoc. They love playing chase at top speed but none of them bite each other my whippet is safe around them too. They are all lads only one of them is neutered so perhaps the muzzel can be reconsidered.

  • seeing all of the dogs there hoping to be taken home made me cry :(

  • We're getting our baby this Sunday!!!! Ex-racer 5yr old brindle sweetness named Abe! I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :28 is that herb and witty?

  • @ThatsJustLardy - the one on the right Bill called "Lana". Our girl's original name was "Megan", but unfortunately we had to change it as we already had a "smoothie" named Megan. :-)

  • @videozine oh right, they are on the girls side.

are you coming to the picnic on saturday?

  • If we could only stop the sport all togeter

  • Yes, GRA is fantastic...we adopted our grey Ginger from there 2 years ago, and she is the love of my life, they truly are addictive, and the most loving, sweet, gentle creatures that there are.

  • I was there yesterday! It is in Ontario. Search GRA and see who they have for adoption!

  • Where is that farm? I believe that is the exact farm my family gets our greys from! Is it in Ontario? I can't remember the city. A older couple runs it and I can't remember there names.

  • You can just tell the dogs hate it by the way she runs out of that place.

  • Congrats on Grace. She's a beaut. I've got an IG. He's our world. Greyhounds rule!!! :-)

  • what happend to your previous grey

  • We lost Georgia to cancer in Feb 2006.

  • Congrats on getting her, I just can't get over the fact that she was so scared!

  • i hope you picked up that muzzle you will need it

  • We already had one from our previous Grey, and she does wear it when we go to the dog park.

  • thanx just wondering

  • I have a greyhound myself and I have never ever ha to use a muzzle on her. She's so laid back that she just doesn't bother with other creatures at all.

  • Hows Grace doing now? Don't you just feel for the poor scared babies that just don't have a clue that their life is just about to become one of love, comfort and happiness.
