  • I really don't see a difference except to say that I think your natural eye looks better.

  • I wear these here in the Uk. They're available from Boots opticians. The irritation may last a few days because they're bigger than normal contacts and your eyes have to adjust to the new size. But after that and you're used to them you can get them as daily disposables that only cost and extra £2 to your monthly rate and you can wear them everyday. I have blue/grey eyes and these contacts really make them pop. :)

  • maybe you did not clean it before wearing?

  • I don't really see a huge difference. I wouldn't recommend wearing lenses bought from Hong Kong without a prescription. I once bought color contacts in Korea (while I was in the Army), and it scraped the heck out of my cornea. Why? Because those contacts have to fit over your eyes just right and no one has the same shape. Your eyes is not worth loosing!

  • u look great in them..I've tried the acuvue radience (brown coloured) lens and they look horrible on me like as if i dont have a pupil ..have anyone encountered this?

  • your so hot, i don't even really are about the contact lenses anymore haha

  • i recently got some when I was visiting family in Asia. Mine are made in Ireland. Actually, it seems Acuvue has two manufacturing plants, one in the US, one in Ireland. All of their contacts sold in Asia are manufactured in Ireland. I kind of don't want mine anymore.. even the slight black circle on the outside makes me look dorky.... hah hah, large eyes are kind of dorky. Btw, Hong Kong is a much cleaner, organized place than most of US. People have health care..

  • Hey I wear glasses but really want to start weraing lenses as glasses hide my eyes- I like the sound of these but live in The UK, there are availble now here but only through Boots opticians does anyone know eher I can purchas them in the UK?

  • Your eyes do look a bit bigger with the circle lenses. My aunt and father frequently return to china so I could have them pick some up for me. Have you ever tried gray contact lenses that completely change the eye color? I think it would look unique. Unnatural, but pretty

  • Are they bad for you to wear daily? And does any one knoww where i can buy these in Melboune ? Pleaseee,,,like anything thats at least have a similar effect as the acuvue define or some sort of just circle lense. I wear the acuvue define daily but im not in melbourne at the moment, so does any one know? Hehe help plss xxx

  • Thanks for the vieo..i always wanted to know if the radiance blue-gray would wroke for my dark brown eyes. In my opinion, it is pretty but it is not showing enough.. but thanks though! =)

  • do the acuvue ones also look good on blue eyes ??

  • Hi

What's your eye diameter and the diameter of the circle lens?

Because I have 14.2 mm dia and I noticed on some sites the circle lense is 14.0 and 14.8.

So, I am wondering if the 14.0 is enhanced to go over 14.2 mm, or do I have to go for the 14.8.

Can you tell me what your diameters are so I can buy accordingly?

    It would be much appreciated.

    Jamie

  • Can someone tell me where I can get LEGAL Geo lenses in Hong Kong? Thanks.

  • @queenliyah123

why the hell wld u need an eye exam....

well n eye exams are free if you live in canada...haha

cant answr cause im not her

    ask your seller

  • @lya95

haha yeah i did ask my seller and i did need an eye exam.

and in illinois it wasnt free, it was 69 dollers not including the actual contacts.

  • acuvue define isn't really circle lens

  • i got some contacts simular to these but i wanted hazel and they made me look like a demon. my eyes are natually big so it was freaky

  • You're gorgeous and you remind me of Lucy Liu.

  • yeah i felt discomfort

too on my left eye after

3 months and i dont know

    why =___="

  • yeah i felt the same thing on my left eye after few months

  • @tingleping. its true that purple and green look bad on asian. but i've tried pure hazel and grey..looks great and beautiful. i'm asian btw and when i have the pure hazel ones on..lots of people commented on my eyecolor of how beautiful they are, until i tell them its contacts and they're like,oh but they look so real, like its your natural eyes.

not all freshlook colors suck for asians. pure hazel looks very natural and pretty. it has a bit of hazel and green in it. try it i think u'll like it.

  • i have circle lenses but they're such a hassle to order internationally sometimes .__. where did you buy the acuvue define ? i cant find them in any stores, and i cant even find how you can order them online :/

  • I never knew acuvue sold circle lenses o_o;;; But there isn't much of a difference with theirs.. D: compared to the ones from Korea..

  • i've tried several circle lens brands before, but i found out that only Hana SPC provive me the best comfort, and it has a very nice enlarging effect too. btw, i get my lens from PinkyParadise

  • hi does the freshlook radiance make your eyes appear bigger like the acuve one?

  • yes,it does,I have radiance autumn

  • You can actually get some in the USA. Some people import and sell them in case you want some more in the future. I buy my circle lens from iBeautyfreak, com

  • you have to take "sunrise" or "autumn" of the radiance line for dark eyez, not eden.

  • today when i was at the doctor, he was telling me about someone who came in to the office today and had -13. She got lasik and they were able to reduce it and now she has 20/20. He said she was verryyyy lucky she had enough tissue to do that.

  • i JUST got acuvue samples from the store near me..but i dont live in the US...i live in saudi arabia....and yea they r good but thats the only brand that will sell circle lenses here....though they didnt really make a HUGE "wow" difference but they did enhance my natural eye shape...:D

  • wow i need ur vision mine is -3.75 :(

  • True. I've tried it before and my eyes were irritated. I would say stay away if you have sensitive eyes.

  • Besvue gives you the biggest size circle lenses. Besvue enlargest your eyes by 15.5 dia mm, while other circle lenses other normal circle lenses make it bigger by 14 dia mm.

  • one day acuvue define is actually really shitty.

never tried the freshlook, but in terms of size [bigger eyes] and colour, GEOlenses are awesome(:

  • ahh! i was thinking about getting the acuvue define, why r they bad?D:

  • honestly, if you're asian or brown eyes any freshlook colors suck. my eyes are brown(triedblue&purp&green) didnt work on me.acuvuedefine is bad quality. it's like grey but it moves around on your eyes. and its really bad quality. think kids colouring in.. or made in china..

if you want it for the ''look'' you gotta get the cosmetic ones like GEOlens or seashell.

    korean or jap.

but if you want ones that are good for your eyes.. get the ones that are legal in the us or aus or wherever..

  • honestly speaking..

i wouldnt really class freshlook and acuvue as ''circle lenses''..

    they're more color cons.

circle lenses i would say are more seashell or geolens...

  • thanks!!! the ads were so persuading lol. thanks for ur input m not gonna buy em anymore o.o i got my geo angels and love em!

  • Comment removed

  • i think it useless to where contacts if it going to look like your natural eye color. you need adventure and get a color that far from your natural color. have some fun!

  • I really want some of the circle lens!!! Nice video.

  • i never knew acuvue and freshlook had circle lens! I bought the asian ones G&G, Dueba, or GEO lens. They are much harder and thicker so it's really irritating, freshlook is what i also used for color back then and it's so much softer and lighter to wear.

  • by they do u which circle lens provider do you mean when u said they're harder and thicker? i'm thinking of buying some but i never used contact lenses before so i can't ricks hard ones D:

  • circle lenses are a lot thinner than normal lenses.

  • can u buy it in drug store??

  • I would never wear contact bought from another country unless it was from an optician,i's too dangerous and these are your eyes. The review was very helpfulthough just be carful when buying from Japan or China as far as contacts unless they are sold by an actual Dr.

  • what about korean?

  • They were purchased from an optometrist's office in HK and Acuvue is a reputable brand for contacts.

  • I wear my GEO Angel Brown circle lens everyday to school for 8 hours (max) and they feel extremely comfortable and there is no irritation.

I think the circle lens you got were FAKE... especially upon reading that you said you got them from Hong Kong? It's not safe to just randomly buy from Asian markets, you have to make sure you check it out with the seller and make sure it's authentic or else the fake ones can damage and harm your eyes! *o*

  • can i ask u something?

hwo can u tell if the lens are inside out??

  • you can tell by the shape of the lens. it should make a bowl. if the edges flare outward it is backwards. If you put them in backwards it feels like you have something in your eye.

  • You'll definitely be able to feel it. They'll feel extremely "scratchy" and will hurt in your eyes.

  • I sometimes where color contacts but I like Oasis non color contacts the best <3.

After reading about circle lenses, people have loads of problems with them. Even though they are relatively the same size. The only difference is they print closer to the ends and the sizes are the same.

I still don't understand why though... maybe it's the shape. *shrugs*

  • Really? My friend has tried Freshlooks, the acuves and circle lenses. Out of all, she says the circle lenses are the most comfortable and she can wear them the longest.

I only have circle lenses but I've never worn other contacts before, and these are actually so comfortable. I don't feel like I have anything in my eye.

  • Most people get the circle lenses which hard lenses which are for like 1 year or so. I think they don't adapt to each eye the best. But if the contact and shape of the eye is identical, I think there is less of a problem? If not, you can't wear it for to long.

Or maybe the people just don't know how to wear contacts since they never went to optomitrist. Didn't get the contact fluid and don't but the contact eye drops.

Just my thinking, I'm not a doctor.

Oasis is like air to me.

  • Circle lenses are soft lenses actually? I was surprised when I opened it, it was like jelly and at first hard to put in my eye because it was so soft. By circle lenses, I was talking about like, Geo, G&G and Dueba, etc.

But yea, you are right. It really depends on the person, their "tolerancy" and sensitivity to contacts. Some people can go for hours wearing them and it doesn't feel dry whereas other people are more sensitive to it and have to remove it after a short period of time.

  • I like the acuvue ones. They don't irritate my eyes at all. I can wear em' the whole day and they feel fine :D

  • How much are acuva circle lenses? My eyes are small and since she said acuva ones were smalelr than refular ones...

Can you just order through phone?

My friend has it and it made a difference. I would just like to try it out.

  • i'm sorry i have no idea where you can get them legally in the states. i don't recommend purchasing them from random sites here because you are placing them in your eyes.

you want to be as safe as possible.

  • they look the same as if you didn't have the contacts... why even bother wasting money and effort if most people will not notice the changes...seems absurd

  • my friend got them for me as a gift and i was giving a review.

it's hard to catch on camera but there's a difference when you see them in person.

  • @iheartkayden

    bullshit ugly chink.

  • yea there is a huge difference actually!

i knew lot of pple who use it.

  • There are some brands that can cause effects. I believe the safe ones are G&G and something else.. haha Acuvue seems good though. I have a few boxes at home.

  • thanks! was helpful

  • Are circle lenses really illegal in the U.S. ? I wonder why o.o

  • I dont think so... I get them from Korean eye care professionals here in the US..

I believe they order them from L.A. They even have colored circle lenses (I use brown)

  • Apparently they don't have sufficient permeability to oxygen, so when wearing them they don't give you eyes enough air they need to 'breathe'. This causes 'dry spots' in your eye that you can't see, which can lead to greater health risks.

  • i think the circle lens looks best

  • um anybody know where i could get acuvue circle lenses?

  • asia only. idk why, but im goin back in the summer... i think they hav color contacts at sephora thoughh

  • legal now XD

  • Cool review, but I don't think there is any need to change your eyecolor or even enhance it. You are quite pretty as is, in a natural way!

  • lol. WHo want's to be natural? It's boring, wich means that you'll look like everybody else!

  • lol. you don't get it do you bitch?=)

  • ooh, how nice=) that's the best comment ever<3

  • u know it..

  • So every natural person in the world looks the same, that's so logical...

  • ANY contacts can have a bad effect.

If you take care of them correctly, then it shouldn't make you go blind or anything.

You should research the lenses and the website before you buy any lenses regardless circle lenses or not.

  • that's true but circle lenses are worse.

  • So can we go on a date?

  • whats the difference between circle lensnes and coloured lenses? coz i got coloured lenses from asia but i never used them to make my eyes look bigger.. ive watched the video and noticed that the size of the lenses r the same as mine. hmmm..

  • circle lenses have a bigger circumference and a large black outer ring.

  • there are so many side effects for circle lens

I am from Korea nd I started wearing circle lens since I was 16( I am 22 now). Your iris color will fade out seriously as well as the color of outer ring of your iris. Mine used to be really dark, but my eye colors changed from dark brown to light brown. I stopped wearing circle lenses a couple months ago, and I am putting on glasses and stil feel like my eyes are burning.

  • that's true. I love circle lens but it was hurting my eyes really really bad!! my eye doctor told me that people should wear them only for 2hours otherwise those will irritate the eyes..

  • I wear em' the whole day and my eyes feel fine.

Try building up hours so your eyes get used to it. 4 hours the first day, then 6 and so forth adding on hours each day.

  • as you can see in this contact sample. The eye grade is -1.75 and when your eyes is normal it should be 20/20 vision... ask your opto about it.

  • We have an optical clinic and I wanted to try different colors of contacts but my brother wont allow me its because certain contact lenses have certain "eye grades" that means certain contacts can only be used for those people who are having problems with their eyes. So if you don't have any problems... you'll be creating future damages for your natural eyes. Tschüss!

  • I don't know of any side effects. I doubt it'll make you go blind because it's pretty common in asian countries, but then again, I really can't say because I don't know.

  • The black circle lens really make your eyes look bigger!!

  • this chick is hot!

  • Holy S**T! I must say at 2:50 (the 3 side by side comparison) you look great on the 3rd pic which is obviously the circle lens. Its weird how such a small difference makes a huge change!

I'm a guy, and as I guy I love it!

Where did you get your Acuvue Define Circle Lens? I have a prescription but can't find anyone that sells it :(

  • I got mine from a friend that went overseas and "smuggled" them back. I believe they are only available in Asian countries.

  • hi i was wondering if you have trouble putting in your contacts because yours eyes are smaller i want to puchase some contacts but my eyes are small and affraid tht the contacts are going to be to big and deficoult to put in

    thanks

  • not at all. with some practice, it's pretty easy. i just "open" my eyes with the help of my fingers. hehe

  • I could see the diffrenc ^^ made your eyes look more open.. anyway, there could also maybe that the solution on the circle lense was too strong 4 your eyes and made your eye get irritated... U should look for a solution less stong or something...try ask an optic for advice or something..

  • not sure what it was, but only irritated one eye.

  • where can I buy a non prescriptive contact....I don't really have an eye problem I just wanted to enhance my eye color....

  • you can go to the optometrist and they can prescribe you color contacts even if you don't need vision correction.

  • I just bought my first coloured contacts ever! I have "Green Freshlook ColourBlends". And they look awesome on my eyes.. (I have lightbrownish/greenish/diarrhoea-couloured eyes)

I finally was able to put them in! my eyes were tearing up and I didn't know what side is in and vice versa.

Girl, your eyes are awesome. Seriously. Your eyes are so beautiful. I can't imagine why you would want to have coloured contacts. C:

  • i used a contact solution. my other eye was fine but one of them was completely irritated. it might be because they're much bigger and i have astigmatism in one eye.

  • the ones i have make your eyes bigger and don't irritate the eye. when u wore ur contacts did u get them wet with tap water or any other kind of water other than the lotion that's in the case with the contact? cos when u wash your hands you should thoroughly dry them to avoid an infection or any kind of contact problems :Z u probably know this anyway lol.

  • I thought the acuvue one should make your eyes bigger, but somehow it appeared to me as though it made your eyes look smaller...we have similar eyes so I might think first before buying it. Thanks so much! :)

  • Hey. Thanks for reviewing circle lens. I heard that they are not FDA approve. I want to try it but that is the one reason why im not trying it.

  • Do these only work on asian eyes?

  • no, they work on everyone. my friend has really big eyes and she wore circle lens. however, it just made her eyes look too huge.

  • i want the freshlook ones in autumn so bad :/

  • FreshLook is bomb. U should go on their website and click their gallery.

  • unfortunately, they are only available outside the US. mainly in the asian countries. that's why i also reviewed the freshlook radiance. you can purchase them at an optometrist's office.

  • I WANT A PAIR T__T

  • can you get those acuvue ones in the USa??

  • I went to Taiwan and they only sell the acuvue ones because the BIG korean lenses are illegel there, because they weren't made in Taiwan.

    :(

  • wow, i barely found out about this about one week ago. i think it looks kinda cool. i want to try it out

  • wow i barely found out about this about like a week ago...and it looks kinda cool lol. i wanna try it out for myself =D

  • in general, i think it makes my eyes look bigger overall, esp when you compare photos of no contacts and with contacts. Since the outer black ring is larger than your actual iris, it makes your eyes appear wider and more open.

  • aww thanks for putting this video up!!

i was always wondering about circle lenses.

and i have a question.does the circle lens make only your pupils look bigger,or your whole eye??
