  • That first one sounds suspiciously like something distinctly non-carol like... :-P

    I have two more bells to play with up here in Riddings, which means we don't have to keep changing octaves, which is really useful! Bit of practice needed (for both of us!) though lol

  • yes i think you will not be dissapointed, we practise on a tues 7.30 the tenor is 14quarter & they were all cast by John Taylors in 1928, ringers here say that they are very much like St Stephens in Brannel & also Stratton bells as well.....

  • Les Dawsons version on church bells! lol no honesty joking aside that was really good,those bells at St Stephen remind me of Phillack bells...

  • @cornwall59 yea, they are very similar sounding arn't they. I haven't rung at Phillack yet, I've heard they are very nice. Shall have to pop down one evening...
