were all these vehicles uninsured for theft, or were they just abandoned? our police impound only holds vehicles long term if there is a police investigation involved... usually the insurer comes and gets them and they will decide what to do with it. if they were uninsured/abandoned, then they are forefit to the city and auctioned off.
