  • this seems stupidly hard on your rotator cuff

  • To be able to do that lift with 48kg is amazing. On my 1st few I barely managed to do this with 24kg and only on my right side. I need to practice these.

  • Great Line Dave - " not the shed of comfort, but the shed of strength " At least you've got a roof on it - I dont even have a shed. haha.

    Nice tutorial though thanks.

  • World record Bent Press done more than 100 years ago ,by Authur Sexon,he weight 200 pounds, and bent press 375! Pounds.even trying 200 pounds can be amazing. But how can a Human Body with stand such a weight would remain a mystery to Me.

  • when i try and do this drill my forearm is not vertical, i can't seem to get it vertical, anyone know any drills or stretch to correct this?

  • "its not the shed of comfort" hahahahahahahahah that made my night haha

can you bent press with a dumbell??

  • @chainsawmurderer666 So funny that you said that, because that line made me smile, too: not the shed of comfort, but the shed of strength. A great thought for any workout domain.

  • @chainsawmurderer666 yeah, you can bent press with a barbell or dumbbell, your lifting the weight not the shape of the weights.

  • Thank you so much!

All your videos are great, I truly admire you, orignial weightlifter.

    Looking up to you. Thanks!

  • The principles of the press are the same for the Windmill (what some of you call the side press) or the Bentpress. The main differences being, from what I understand at least, the way you bend the upper body and the position of the feet. Windmill/Side-press: feet at 45 degrees to the loaded arm and bending sideways. Bentpress: feet facing forward and body bends forwards.

  • The side press I think is were you bend sideways and press it. Tthe bent press you are pulling you body under the wight till the arm locks out. Correct me is i am wrong Dave.

  • Now show us it from the back, full figure, so we can copy it.

  • Yes, a bent/side press comparison vid would be great.

  • Nice video, the only good explantion of the bent press I've seen on here. Do you have a side press video? I'm trying to understand the difference between the two.
