Gooch Shading

I really don´t know the name of the original paper on Gooch, but for this shader i've read the NPR section of Orange Book ( which is quite a good book ).

The Shader has two passes, the first calculate the gooch color and the second adds the outline

looks perfect. Do you know the exact title of the original gooch paper?

oh and did you do the outlining in a shader ?

@1337H0E As far as I can tell, the original paper is "A Non-Photorealistic Lighting Model For Automatic Technical Illustration" by Gooch, Amy et al. published in/for SIGGRAPH 1998. Just search for "Gooch Shading" in Google and it should be the first hit.
