  • I like to use the rolled edge cause it keeps the ends from fraying...especially on the ripstop that I get from the Wally world closeout bin.

  • @1377stick - Really wish our Wally World had a fabric section. I would gladly use a rolled hem on some of the mythical $1/yd WM rip-stop. Oh the gear I would make.

    I have read that others find it for $1/yd, but it is only $1.50/yd here. But still that is cool. I have found about 3 different thicknesses. A light weight that I would say is about 1.1 or so, then some heavier ones about 1.7 or 1.9 maybe. A buddy says he got some once that would not let water pass through but all of mine has not been the case. None of it has been waterproof.
