Coolest move I ever learned. When I get pulled over, I put my keys on the roof of the car to let him know he has control. Some cops are caught off guard, all the better so I can emphasis the point. They feel more comfortable and it's amazing how much more gracious they are. Considering I was a crazy deliver driver for two years, I needed all the mercy I could get!

Ya know, most people only loose data once after a HDD crash.....same happened for me........reason why is because it's learning experience and after that everyone goes and actually backs up their data.

One copy is NOT a backup....even if you stick it on another drive and call that drive "backup"...you need 2 copies...3 would be even better, and one should be "off site" meaning away from the house in case of a fire or something.

An external drive and Carbonite is what I use, great combo!
