I respect your opinion about Floyd's fighting style. As for me it's about fighting, a brawl perhaps, they are there to fight not out point the opponent. See I don't consider what Floyd does a moon walking. In fact it's a skill that not many boxers have. Many fighters lack lateral movement and many more can't box going backwards...it's a rare find. Most boxers can only fight pressing forward and we've seen how Floyd can manipulate that style, especially if it's all you can do. I also feel brawling is only needed when your boxing skill can't overcome the other fighters boxing skill..ala Leonard vs Hearns.

His last few opponents either were not good enough or were too drained to fight. Right fight wrong time. Cotto needs to heal. Pac has a big noggin that flies in with his lunges and I see cotto cutting. If Cotto can back him up, pac will tire, just like the JMM fight. We just havent seen pac get hit in 3 fights for obvious reasons, but when his speed is neutralized, he doesnt have the boxing skills and combination punches to hold up. to elite boxers. He was fighting JMM's fight in later rounds with an occasional flurry.

If you watch pac in his last 3 fights, his technique is the same as when he fought JMM and barely scratched wins against an effective counterpuncher with a chin.
