I have one of these. It is my second one as I lost the first one at a woods ball game. I fill some of the canister with flower (doesn’t have to be self raising ;- ). I have just tried out a new trick of filling it with ground up polystyrene. I took some packing from a new tv my friend has had delivered and used a food blender to chop it up. The affect is really something and the mess is unbelievable to :-)

Sind für Airsoft. Und noch dazu gut geeignet. leider etwas teuer die Hüllen aber definitiv ungefährlich. Eine von meinen ist mir mal in der Hand losgegangen und ich hatte nur die BW Kampfhandschuhe an. Es war verdammt laut, meine hand hatte einen blauen Fleck und ich brauchte ein paar Sekunden um mich von dem Schreck zu erholen aber ansonsten ist nichts passiert. Sonst wären die in DE sowieso nicht erlaubt...

Jap. Da das Gehäuse aber meistens nur an einer Stelle reisst (und der Riss nicht sehr gross ist) fliegen so ca. 20 in eine Richtung raus. Bringt nichts.

Auf den meisten Feldern gibts meiner Erfahrung nach aber eh eine 5-Meter-Regel bzw "Granate im Raum ->Alle hit.".

Daher: Sehr geiles Gerät das.

Well since there are no shrapnells, the rule normally is: everybody within 15 feet (5m) or everybody in the room. If somebody is out, he yells "Hit!" and raises an arm. So hes just hit. Thats because we dont like the terms "dead" or "kill" because its not what where doing; were just trying to hit each other in an fair competition, without anyone being hurt. At the moment we have a big problem with our german politicians cause there saying that airsoft might seduce people to go on a killing spree

It makes a loud noise. The other team goes "OH SHIT OH SHIT" and LOOKS towards the source of the noise (they might drop their gun out of surprise too). You and your team pop in and quickly tag everyone in the room with BBs.

And THAT, my friend, is how it's supposed to be used. If you want a "Frag" grenade you should look into buying a tornado. This won't count for any outs.

The problem with a tornado grenade is that it doesn't work well in an outdoor brush environment, as the bbs get caught up in the brush. This could be an alternative to a tornado for such a scenario, sorta like 'you're out if you're within a certain range of the detonation' kind of thing.

@tsubasaISfun we have a saying in my country. "THE ORGANIZATION REIGNS SUPREME" and it basically means that if they tell you that you get "killed" if you stand 5 meters or less from it, you are out. If they tell you that players get stunned for 3 seconds, they have to.

Basically, life =/= metal gear solid. I am not going to inspect over a loud noise because I know what it might be. This is perfect for stuns, frags or tripwire alarms.

@bf2lover42 1.) Because airsofters =/= real soldiers - a lot of them are 14 or younger and are easily distracted/startled - and from experience, I know that even a moment looking away from a door/corner/window can mean a walk back to spawn.

2.) I *did* mention in later comments that I'd discovered that at most fields (not all) I play at, they do count for a kill within a certain radius - 10 ft (or 2 meters) from where it pops.

They won't flinch at a 120dB bang because after what they have been trough it's nothing.
