  • If you look closely, you will see Bob Lupone, Patti Lupone's brother. He originated the role of Zack in the NY production.

  • I can imagine there probably wasn't a dry eye in the crowd when this song was sung at the last show. Heck, my eyes aren't dry now. :)

  • @Basssinger86 Look, my eyes are dry

  • The name is always Diana but in spanish its pronounced like(dee-ana) and since the character is latina it makes since that she spells it "Diana" and pronounces it "Dee ana".The spanish i sounds like an english e. I hope that helps you understand :)

  • I'm so glad Phil gave the line spoken by Zach that leads up to this song. So many people have the wrong idea about this song and what it means.

  • Thank you so much for this post. A Chorus Line definitely means a lot to a lot of people. This certainly made my day.

  • i am blown away! i remember watching this when it first aired in 1990!! thanks!!

  • What year was this filmed?

  • I believe 1990...

  • Best guesss 1990, the year that it closed....

  • thanks so much for posting this entire show. seeing that cast, and hearing that song has put a huge smile on my face.

  • I was fortunate enough to see these fine performers at the Schubert Theatre doing this excellent show in 1975.. One of my favorite musicals. And if actor Ron Kuhlman looks familiar, you might remember him as being Jan Bradys' husband Phillip in the quirky Original made for TV Brady Bunch movies

  • Wow!! Thank you doesn't nearly say enough, but it's all I have, Thank you sooo much for this historic moment

  • Yay! I've been looking for this!

  • Great post! This was my first Broadway show - about 1981 when I was about 20. Fraser Ellis (a friend of a friend) was an understudy - he got us comp tix and we slept on his couch. He stayed with the show about 9 years...
