LOL I found myself with the same issue. I have found that working in blocks of time work for me: work from 8-11, lunch, housework from 2-4 something like that. So far its working pretty good

Hi Sunshine-- I know this is waaaaaaaay late, but re: working at home and staying on track, I suggest setting deadlines and maybe have a partner or buddy who can hold you accountable for the goals you are trying to meet during the week can help you stay on track. Make a weekly to-do list for your biz and aim to get 75% of it done, with encouragement (and possibly physical assistance) from that accountability partner.

im praying for you girl!! IIm in the SAME BOAT! I work from home and have the same problem! What I end up doing is that I do housework in the evening as I get ready for bed, and I straighten up 2 areas that will annoy me. Then in the morning, I wake up before everyone else and I choose I more area that I cannot walk past and spend 20 minutes on that. By the time little man and big man wake up, I have made breakfast and am feeling better. I also had to chat with hubby about his new duties,lol!

Hey Sunshine! I run my business from home also. How I manage my hours is on my dry erase board! It's right by the front door and it lists my "office hours" So everyone in the house holds me accountable for keeping them and not getting distracted. My alarm goes off when office hours are over, and THEN i clean!

I have an all natural hair, bath and body care line and I work from home. I have 3 children ages 3 and under who are also at home. The best advice I can give is to make/ have a schedule and stick to it. You will be able to maximize your limited time as well as know what you need to do and when to do it.

i'm a former attorney and upcoming writer who also works from home. i carve out about an hour or two per day to do the things around the house. the rest of the time, i force myself to concentrate on running my business. for example, when i sit down to write, i say "you have to write for 4 hours, and not leave this chair until that 4 hours is up." when the 4 hours is up, i "treat" myself to cleaning one of the bathrooms or some other house-related task. discipline, grasshopper. lol.
