I know people don't want to find out yet but one reason they are revealing it is because it always ends up in the tabloids so rather than it be in the newspapers when filming starts, they'd rather reveal it in a show and get lots of viewers

Whom ever the 11th doctor is, he needs to be able to play the role for as long as he can and try to be longer that Tom Baker and not be a shorter era like Eight and Nine.

They need to prolong the remaining doctors for as long as they can in order to keep Doctor Who on the air for a few more decades unless they plan to cheat at the end of 13

they will find a way to cheat. if the master can get a new cycle of regens then the doc will too. I can be and epic challenge for the doctor and the writers should start thinking of ideas for it now.

One idea i have is that the 11th doctor will have an opportunity to receive a reverse regeneration and will turn back into David Tennant for a few more years and turn back in 11. I don't know who will have the power to make this possible or how this can be possible but it might work especially for David Tennant fans.

It could happen though, Colin Baker played a guest role on Doctor Who before he was casted as the sixth doctor. So they might cast Anthony head. But They might cast someone younger. I don't know we will see what happens.

Oh Anthony Head would be fantastic. He was a brilliant head Krillitane and is in general such a strong actor - he would be a spectacular and distinct personality from Ten, which I think is sort of necessary.
