I don't think its scheduling conflicts. I'm going to have to agree with Makael. People do fly the equipment to every concert. It happens all the time in world tours. If Janet had such a hard time doing it(especially being that its a stateside tour) that she had to cancel why are these other acts doing it with ease. Madonna has even delayed one show in Buenos Aires because the equipment wasn't going to arrive til the next day. Big acts such as Cher, Bon Jovi, and Beyonce do it all the time.
Madonna does not lipsync!! She does use playback for the chorus part of the tour but thats it. Check out her "You Must Love Me" or "Don't Cry for me Argentina" part of the tour. I was at one of her concerts and she really does know how to put on a show. She plays the guitar and does a lot of dancing/choreography throughout the show. All this while being at 50 years old. This is one of her physically demanding tours.
I was about to go see Janet too when she cancelled the tour. :(

I don't think its scheduling conflicts. I'm going to have to agree with Makael. People do fly the equipment to every concert. It happens all the time in world tours. If Janet had such a hard time doing it(especially being that its a stateside tour) that she had to cancel why are these other acts doing it with ease. Madonna has even delayed one show in Buenos Aires because the equipment wasn't going to arrive til the next day. Big acts such as Cher, Bon Jovi, and Beyonce do it all the time.

Madonna does not lipsync!! She does use playback for the chorus part of the tour but thats it. Check out her "You Must Love Me" or "Don't Cry for me Argentina" part of the tour. I was at one of her concerts and she really does know how to put on a show. She plays the guitar and does a lot of dancing/choreography throughout the show. All this while being at 50 years old. This is one of her physically demanding tours.
I was about to go see Janet too when she cancelled the tour. :(

Then, the Michael Jackson trial was coming up in 2005 and it would of been more negativity for her and her family and add to that the superbowl bad press!It would have been just a very hard time for her.

Why Janet's tour didn't sell as well as Madonna's is probably because Janet hasn't been touring as much as Madonna(or Tina Turner lol) nor has she done so in a long time(like what ThatGrapeJuice said). Madonna's American Life album flopped(because her songs were once blacklisted like Janet's) yet she still went on tour to support it to keep her fans interested. Many Madonna fans look forward to her tours and she tours after every album so thats why they sellout.

Kevin is crazy lol. I agree with you Makel with the snl and mad tv thing. I do NOT believe in the death penalty, only god should kill. Plus Death is an easy way out. They should suffer for years, not get a quicky death.. that seems like an award, more than a punishment.
