@stingauer Feeder fish such as the comets youre feeding your oscar's provide little nutrients and are efficient at spreading disease and parasites. It may be interesting to watch them eat live food and see your beasts in action but it's not worth it. Their are great foods that are much healthier in the long run. I feed my oscar frozen pees, freeze dried vitamin powdered jumbo krill, as well as well as pellets. Just a heads up, not trying to bust your balls man.

Then there are the ones where the Oscar gets lazy and just bites the feeder in half and leaves the rest to rot in the tank. Goldfish are fun to raise because they live a long time, but they are dirty. Oscars, can be just as much a chore. I prefer the freeze-dried foods and pellets myself. Btw, goldfish are just as much predators if you put small feeders in the tank.
