you flyers really do got a good player here in this giroux (excuse my spelling if it's wrong) being from chicago, and playing detroit countless times. i can't help but notice young shades of datsyuk, the shootouts, the speed, the hands, the vision, the willingness to hit, and needless to say, he's a fantastic two-way player.
giroux's a 100 point per season capable player.... for sure.. he's more creative then the sedin's and look how well their doing... I also think its hilarious how coaches always say play the body and giroux guards the puck with his feet and the penguins defense just tries to poke at the puck... not hit the body... sooo typical penguins D
i like the one play where he droped his sitck during the play, then a few secs later the puck was in a spot where he would have got a breakaway. The linesman picked up his stick and was bringing it to the flyers bench. Then Giroux, skating at full speed, snatched the stick right out of the refs hands and picked up the puck. Only bad thing was he didnt score, but i laughed my ass off for a while.
yup, i went to beatrice desloges with him. had a few classes together. he's a really cool guy and really loves hockey. he's real determined and hard working.

When did he do that? I saw him botch the through the legs move, fall into the boards, get the puck taken away, and then fail to get the kick pass on the stick of his teammate after the puck was given back to him.

he was one of the few pens on offense that showed every game for the pens. he and fleury won that series. without out them flyers woulda took it easily.

No, he is not. Claude is from Hearst, Ontario, and Alexandre is from Quebec City. They are not related in any way as far as I know.
