  • I just have to write more! The way he writes for the violins is so stirring. He never fails to write evocative pieces that remind one of childhood and home and...things. I'm so upset that he hasn't been recognized like other great composers like Alfred Newman and Miklos Rosza!

  • I so wish that they'd produce a soundtrack to this film, and other films to which Stothart composed the music. He had such a sympathetic, nostalgic style. Oh well.
