Successful Kerbal Mun Landing

...and NOW I see what the 'secret' is and why I've been smacked in the tail with the Mun - I need to stop chasing 'the ball' (retro point), point her nose-up and KEEP it there.. ride the throttle the whole way down. THANKS!

Did they make it back to Kerbin after landing or was that not possible?

@UnusualResults Entirely possible, just point towards Kerbin, burn til you hit moon escape velocity, wait until Kerbin captures you then burn to slow your orbit speed to decend.

@98081 I'd actually burn a bit left of Kerbin, because that's the relative orbit to the Mun.
