OMG, I used to love the smurfs. It's a shame they are not in TV anymore, I think the kids today would have loved them. I was nicknamed smurf a couple years back becuase I used to be short for my age but I've grown so I'm no longer a smurf. Aww, I'm really missing the smurfs...

On wikipedia it talks about how the smurfs was created by some French dude in the 1950s/early 60s...I think the name came from some weird French word he created. Coulda been drugs but I dunno.

Nice intro, but the Swirling Star logo was stopped until it reached "Hanna-Barbera Presents". I remember when WPIX-TV ran the "Smurfs" for a number of years. I missed watching that show. Thanks!
