@MichaelJacksonNorway No. Well, I mean it is said that he did learn toward some of the ideas of communism but it was really just a radical stage for a number of actors in Hollywood.
I cant forget when first we met Beneath the starry skies But most of all I would recall The magic of your eyes Beautiful eyes What have they seen to make them so beautiful ? Wonderful eyes What have they dreamed to make them so wonderful ? Sorrowful eyes What have they lost to make them so sorrowful ? Beautiful wonderful eyes Through all the tearsThrough all the years The vision never dies Again I see In memory The magic of your eyes
What a delightful tune! Odeon was the European label for UK Parlophone, and I believe this is Parl E-6403, which was released in the UK on 3rd March 1931 as by "The River Club Orchestra" with vocal by Maurice Elwin and an unnamed other. The band is thought to be that of Arthur Rosebery, recording under yet another pseudonym, and totally British rather than American. All rather strange!
@znuky Yes, it is the Recording Parlophone E-6403. I checked it in Rust's "British Dance Band" Discographie, the Matrix Numbers are the same. The Recording was made in London, March 3, 1931. Thank you for the Information, I have the same Record on polish Odeon :-)
Thank for the beutiful tango.
Would be interesting to learn who is singing on the record and what is this "Original american orchestra"

Eyes, Tango and ESPECIALLY the video.
For 2:59 minutes, you really captured the essence of "City Lights"!
Thank you Grzegorz.
