  • you want to eliminate snacking..if all else fails..go back to phase 1 and 2...drink broth and soft foods..and walk...you have taking the steps to get the surgery. A life changing event took place. if you are depressed..i understand completely. you have what it takes. you had the surgery..now its in your best interest to make it happen. maybe it could be the people you involve yourself with. just throwing that out there. Im here for you..let me know if I can help. anything!! :)

  • Keep up the good work beautiful I can't wait to hear ur weightloss mamaz whoooohooo

  • *hug* things will get better honey, just stay strong. I think every WLS patient has that fear of failure, so don't let it distract you from what & where you want to be.

& young lady, you need to start thinking more about yourself. & you'd be surprised at how much better you'll feel if you just got in a few minutes of exercise a day. Because I was feeling REALLY blue my 3rd week out and then I started working out. Next thing I knew my mood improved & I dropped 7 lbs this week.

  • as I was saying - just hang in there & I hope you feel better really soon. :o)

  • You are doing great no matter what!!! Just hang in there and you will get into the groove of things!!! And you are not a failure!! My loss is slowing down as well but Im just sticking with it!!! Good Luck !! Im here for you if you need me!! Jennie

  • One day at a time, girl, one day at a time. You're right to be going to your support groups. Keep lists and journals - most important be honest in your food journal. Maybe you can find someone at your support group to become 'buddies' with. Start a list of new recipes or foods and circle the ones you like after you try it. I think you're going to do GREAT! You seem to be really mindful about what you're doing and feeling. Good luck!!

  • Hey the mood swings can be from the extra estrogen in ur system....as fat is removed the estrogen stored in the fat cells is floating around waiting to be re absorbed somewhere in the body..Hence mood swings at least thats what the research and my doctor says...hang in there and make a plan daily of what u will eat and then stick to it!!!!! Best of luck!!!!

  • Hang in there girl, mood swings i get too i think its just because i am frustrated that i am so limited on my eating. Dont stress! Or at least try not to. I am here for you if you need a friend or support. You should be so proud of yourself for your weight loss. I had my surgery on November 18th, 2009 so i believe just shortly before you had yours, and i had quite the many complications. Lol i am hanging in there though. Keep in touch!
