@17765Michael I found a reference to Farida on the "Sinomusic" website. They were promoting an artist named Tony Young out of Taiwan. I had to use Google Translate to get most of the info.
This agent also handles Blueridge. I suspect whatever factory wins the purchase order is where it's built that year, but I'm not sure.

Farida make nice guitars, they sell them here in the UK although the prices are quite close to MIM Fender prices.
