Best review of this game I've seen so far. Do people still play this game online? I mean, will it take 15 minutes to find a game like in Halo 2? Because I'm trying to choose between this and Fallout 3.
Thanx dude. Some people still play this online. Not very many, by comparison, I'd say. Might take a long time to find a game if you have an average connection speed. I'd recommend Fallout 3 because it might potentially have more replay value, but it's your choice dude. I'll send you a message with a link to my Fallout 3 review. They wouldn't let me post it on here.
Me too, I just didn't like it as much as some of the other games in the series, I'm just hoping they can wow me this time, the way Infinity Ward wowed me with 4. The two-player co-op is a nice touch indeed.
No problem. COD: WaW has 2-player co-op too, I just hope Treyarch's return to the WW2 theatre is a little more satisfying than their last shot at the series.
As for GRAW 2, aside from the pseudo-military theme and the shooting element, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and GRAW 2 are very different games. If I were to leave the confines of objectivity for a second, I'd personally say that GRAW 2 was better than GRAW. Okay. So in this sense, R6: Vegas 2 is NOT better than R6: Vegas. The first game is better than the second, unlike the GRAW series where it's the other way around. That's the closest to a direct comparison that I can manage.
Considering the Xbox 360 was released 3 years ago, I'd say any game compatible with the console can be said to be "modern". But I know what you mean. There's nothing wrong with the graphics, they look great, maybe not amazing, but great. I rarely mention graphics in my reviews, partially because I don't know squat about binary code (so why should I have a right to judge it?), but mostly because in sheer truth, graphics don't really matter, like looks, they only truly matter to shallow people.
I see. I have one question though: is the Xbox 360 online community still big? I'm not really willing to purchase a game that will die in a few months. I'd frankly only buy the sequel for the multiplayer purpose anyway.
Me too, but after listening to them interview like developers and stuff, I realized that it's actually oo-be-soft, not you-be-soft, like I used to think. I still say you-be-soft sometimes when I review their games.
It depends on what you like. If you like more realistic, military themed games this would be better for you. If you like games that throw realism to the wind, you'd like Halo 3 better. Both games, aside from the fact that both are first-person shooters, have very little in common.
Awesome review and I would like to ask I never played vegas 1 or 2 and I want to get one of them just for the singleplayer though because I don't have multiplayer so which is better in terms of campagin I mean I want vegas 2 because of the customization but I hear vegas 1 has the better campaign, what would you choose? thanx and keep the reviews coming

is there an easy mode in this game or just normal and expert?
plainzebras 2 years ago
i think it's easy,normal,hard,expert,realistic(realistic being a 1 shot kill with any gun.)
chickencannon125 2 years ago
Just Easy, Normal and Realistic. Realistic isn't exactly one shot kill, like a flesh wound won't kill you, but besides that you die instantly.

What program/device you use to record this stuff?

Oh. And the game has three difficulty settings. Casual, Normal, and Realistic.

Nice review, 5/5. But I always used to think that "Ubisoft" is pronounced as you-bee-soft, and not oo-be-soft.

Yeah, the first R6: Vegas has a better overall campaign mode for sure. I'd recommend it if that's why you're looking to bu the game.
