LOVED watching them and of course, we would play out each day's episode, the next day at school.

I never knew Gigantor had so many fans - I also watched this as child 45 years ago _ used to try to tell people about it but no one seemed to remember, Loved that cartoon - and yes childhood was and is a great place to visit! Thanks to poster!

Gigantor, que emoción.Pensar que cuando era niño (1975, aprox.) lo miraba todas las tardes por el canal de Asunción Paraguay (13 o 9, no recuerdo), acá en Formosa no teníamos canal de televisiòn (llegò recién en el año 78). Mi hermano era fans de Astroboy y el siempre decia que era un mejor super héroe porque cuando perdian el control remoto (Joystick) de Gigantor , los criminales no lusaban en contra de la sociedad. In first grade this was THE Cartoon to watch - there was alot of appeal for a six year old boy to have a giant robot at his disposal to crush any and all adversaries. I could sure use one of those today.

I remember this cartoon as a child. I remembered the theme music. I lived in NJ.

Other people never heard of this cartoon. For years You tube didn't have any material. I can't wait to show my girls the cartoons we used to watch. Thanks for posting this

@TAG037 : To late! Already happened. One recent film adaptation. One C.G.I. feature film was in the works as well. Look up Tetsujin 28 (His original Japanese name) on Youtube there are trailers for the films posted.

this robot isn't very aerodynamic his rocket packs don't look they hold enough fuel to be able to do what he does , his probably not Eco friendly when it comes to all the pollution he creates his owners would need to buy heaps of carbon credits.
