By taking the limiter off you are modding the car from standard, as standard the vectra is faster top end than the m5 or AMG, though 0-155mph the m5 or amgs will murder it plus they can go around corners, which is handy.

@mohiahmed1 well they kind of explained that on top gear. lots of cars that are limited can actually go much much much faster. because of that, they would need upgraded tires, high speed brakes, more stable aerodynamics, better stability ect. that would bring up the price alot so to keep it cheap and safe they put limiters on certain cars.

Golf GTI Mark 1 was a legend of course, but there were also great Fords in those days, like Cosworths.
