  • Just a tip for all of you out there. Bring the handles in at the beggining in pelvis height, and have your hands touch each other for the whole movement. Gives a lot better contact for the chest.

  • question guys.. my outer chest is pretty big, i do a variety of free weight, dumbell and pec deck and flys to work by chest but it seems that im not hitting the inner chest? any ideas on how to work the inner chest?

  • @LochSBMT Your genetics is most probably the reason why u have a gap in your inner-chest: However, to answer your question; after fully extending your hand while doing dumbell press, bring the dumbells inwards to feel it in the inner-chest. Normal flies also hit the inner-chest, squeeze ur inner chest while doing the exercise to hit that muscle even more, it's all about feeling it. Also, u can do triangle pushups; although it is known to hit the triceps more, inner-chest works alot.

  • @LochSBMT no such thing as an 'inner' chest

    your pectorial muscles are only split into 2, and thats upper(incline bench) and lower(flat bench), there is no mid pectorial

    it's probably genes. my chest is the same, but it's semi evened out. it has to do with your muscle attachment areas(determined by genes) that creates the appearance of your inner chest.

    all chest exercises should include your whole pectorial muscle, they don't isolate the outter parts towards your shoulders.

  • @corymac011 crossing any chest workout that works ur pecs isn't really helping; wat happens is u go beyond the pectorals range of motion and start involving ur lats and delts

  • @drahmedessam hey man, bulking is great if youre working out at the same time. You gotta always remember that carbs that aren't used become fat, so if you were planning on just gaining weight till you are 185, it's a bad idea. Also, about "the curve," you need to work on the overall pectoral area instead of just worrying about the curve. It will all come naturally, but you gotta focus on getting your chests big before you start to carve it up and shape it up.

    i am 167lb , 5.9 ft and want a tuned body like urs and those of fitness models , i decicded to bulk for the next 2-3 months till 185 and then cut for 6 weeks and rebulk cleanly again ?? what do u think ..

  • @ChronosBlaez @ChronosBlaez No way. Cheat on your girlfriend, not your workouts. I was always able to bench 135 13 times before fail. I was able to do about 155 5 times with little assistance. So I started working out harder and increased my workout from 45 minutes to about 1.5 and added an extra day, so I was going between 5-6 days a week. I get 195 for 1 clean and 185 4 clean.

  • Wow. I was taught this exercise yrs ago at the first gym I belong to by the owner, May he rest in peace ( I thought I was the only one who did this exercise. hehe. I never see anyone doing it at my gym. Funny part is, he told me to visualize hugging a barrel. Everything you just did, was exactly as he taught me.

  • maybe you should use lighter weights while doing demonstrations because I personally think it helps the viewers more if you know what I mean because we can see how exactly to do it and not when you struggle to do it.

  • @miplanes that's the only advantage of beeing skinny :))-abs, u cant get big because that is not ur body type, just eat 2 lb of chicken breast/day and u'll grow a lot, but u won't have that superman look never( wide shoulders and back and strong hamstrings, because u have thin bones and u cannot look like that.I'm big boned and have all these, except i'm not ripped 2 shreds, but i will lose all the fat i need during this summer.enjoy ur abs at least :))
