Also, my life is anything but a sheltered bubble, just because i made a comment saying kids who go to USC are more spoiled and the area around it sucks and i would never go doesn't mean I have a 'sheltered' life.

It's definitely true that we get a lot of opportunities for research with professors! I'm an research assistant right now myself :) It's awesome and super hands on.
