  • a wind turbine that runs on electricity...ok :D

  • you should get more of the 7747 sets, and some other lego city sets, also some more of those things that make the turbine spin, so you could make it more realistic.

  • @jackee2boys old username

  • cool

  • It;s a fan. Not a wind turbine. A wind turbine converts wind to energy.

  • i have the wind turbine but its not motorized

  • look for lego 4999 ....although the vesta set is a lot larger, u can still use the same design to get the motor inside...Im out!!!

  • i have never seen a real wind turbine that has spin so fast, you should fix it so it goes more slowly.. get some gear and maybe a different engine so it becomes more real

  • was it easy to do ???

  • @123LegoCity It took a while, but it was pretty easy

  • @diverdanaccount awesome i might have a go

  • Impressive man

  • @NOOBT00B Thanks

  • @diverdanaccount so does that mean that it can run on wind power by itself?

  • @mexicanfurlife1 No, it uses a motor. It's just for display

  • can you make a video/tutorial of how to turn it motorized please?

  • what lithium battery did you use

  • it's a custom pack that I made. I bought the cells (2) from all-battery

  • so when you buy it..is is not motorized?

  • no, I added the lego motor

  • You are a true genious!!! I tried putting the smaller power functions motor inside the generator, but couldn't make the cage cover it. The size was fine with my motor, but the design just failed when it came to the cage. The power functions motor has no studs on top, so it's hard to attach things on.

  • i haven't opened the set yet , but can you make the "cage" bigger to put the m motor inside..I gonna have to try it one of these days.

  • Id rather just have the wind turbine but the instruction booklet doesnt have the design id numbers.

  • I was thinking of doing the same thing..will the power functions m motor fit inside the windmills "motor" ? powered with the extension wire run down the tower?

  • there's not a chance of any motor fitting inside the windmills "motor". The only way is to run the shaft down the tube like I did.

  • i like it too $

  • watch out for your face. lol

  • don't whap urself in da face

  • pretty sick... watch out for your finger though

    :D

  • Using this video as a guide, I was able to motorize my wind turbine as well. Thank you for putting it up.

  • I want this

  • that is so cool great job
