Gonzales gave a judgeship to Jay C. Bybee in exchange for writing a recommendation for torture; Bybee was given the judgeship for justifying war crimes! And when he did that, he got the judgeship!
Atty Gen Holder is using Bybees coerced memo as reason why he will not prosecute Bush-Cheney & CIA!
So in the White House, if you want to break the law, just bribe a lawyer to write you a letter saying it is OK!
USA gives tours of the crime scene, but no one is going to be arrested for the crime!

I like what Obama's doing overall, but I don't like to see national security compromised.
Fred Thompson is suffering from Sour Grapes. He ran for president and didn't get anywhere. Now he's 105 years old and regretting he didn't have more sex with congressional interns.
Fred is a good actor (seriously)! They should remake WarGames and have him say the line "Hell, I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good." He'd win the Academy Award!!

Obama has NO SAY over whether the Justice Dept chooses to investigate those who authorized the torture.
And we all know that if the shoe was on the other foot.. these investigations and probable prosecutions would have started months ago...... and the conservatives would have been very happy.
So Thompson can take that self-righteous shit someplace else.

He was a lazy mediocre Senator and a lazy presidential candidate.
