@jamesabrush I really like the feel of the raw wood. It's actually about as bright as a maple on maple neck for two reasons, pau ferro fretboard is almost as bright as maple. Mainly, though because the dual truss rod design of the Pro necks have so much steel in the truss rod gutter that it really brightens up the neck overall. A couple things on this guitar done to counter the brightness, like adding a brass trem block, and using Dimarzio HS pickups which are known to be dark. Balances well!
do you like the goncalo alves neck? does it warm up the tone a lot?
