No, no marathons.You really have to train for them....16 week program increasing your weekly mileage until you actually run the distance on one Sunday run. I like just running 3x/week and testing myself with road races to see how I am doing.
@kappa4321 Oh gotcha! Thats cool, I think any running in general is good for us, even if we dont run marathons. I usually play soccer on the weekend. Not very steady as far as a workout goes, but it gets the blood pumping
@DudeForSureMan Soccers a really good way to stay fit, what with the running and the athleticism involved in playing the ball. Are you in a league, or is it a make-up game with friends?
I liked to run anything from 10K to half marathon. It was lots of fun and a good way for getting competitive...but then my old friend Arthur Itis came to visit and decided to take up residency in my knees! So much for that.
