  • Much respect to you sir! I believe this song would be very difficult to grasp for a foreigner, but you've grasped it almost perfectly! I'm touched.

  • @juicetank51 Thanks. I had to learn this to sing in China with the Hong Kong Welsh Male Voice Choir. I'm glad the pronunciation isn't too outrageous.

  • Good work! I thought you are in HK. But now you are only one state away. Are you singing in a choir?

  • Yes. Now that I'm back in Australia, I've joined the Melbourne Welsh Choir.

  • Mr. Raymond, thank you for upload this beautiful song with your sweet and wonderful voice. With all my respect to you, I love the chinese music and I love how you sing this beautiful song. I shed many tears tonight because you touched my heart with this beautiful song and the sweetness of your voice. Be blessed you and your family. Please Mr. Raymond, give me the honor to be your friend here on YouTube. Happy New Year 2010. Love and kisses, ♥ Alice ♥ :)

  • Thank you for favouriting this song and subscribing.

  • This is better than me! Too bad we did not get to meet before you left. Hope you'll be back for next year's Folk Festival at Stanley.

  • although your pronounciation is not perfect, it is already considered good in mandarin. And no, I dont think other would criticize about you are not teresa. They would likely criticize more on the poor lightning.

PS: there are more legendary song like 月亮代表我的心 such as ming tian hui geng hao (明天会更好), or mei tian ai ni duo yi xie (每天爱你多一些)

  • Yes, the lighting is a problem on a dull day in Melbourne. Thanks for your comments.

  • do you live in hong kong o.0? good madarin mate

  • thanks for introducing me to this very pretty song. and no need to apologize for not being teresa teng, although i do think all lucias should apologize for not being joan sutherland

  • When I sing Irish songs I sometimes get criticised for not being Luke Kelly, so best to be safe and apologise in advance!
