I haven played the other vercions but the wii... And even tough I think the game is great and all, I think that once you finish it, is not very fun later because it gets boring doing all that lashing and cuting again and again until the end. And the dificulty is not very high, less when you get all the powers to the maximum. Any way, its a good experience to grab the wiimote like a saber, and that you don´t get to do it in other vercions, so play it, rent it, but don´t buy it.

I got it. It rocks:) when playing you don't watch the graphics at all. And the controls are verry good. i love force grabbing enmys and choke them by twisting the nunckuck or slam them on the ground by moving the nunchuck down :)

Alright so the graphics might not look impressive, but clearly that was not their main focus, and, to be honest, playing the game, you don't even focus on the graphics.

you've got 4 basic swings, left, right up and down and can link them in combos. until MotionPlus is out the controller won't do the 1 to 1 mapping you expect.

In fact this game is extremly playable, so I don't see how you can write it off w/o playing it.

k um another question to whoever has this game, i still dont have it sadly, but im dying to. But can you do everything that the 360 and ps3, like getting new outfits and the same levels ect. and the lightsaber attacks dont look quite as good as the other systems, im not baggin wii cuz thats wat i have, but it just seems like the swings are more seperated and simple

I've rented the Wii version and seen game play of the others... There are some difference in cutscenes and some fights act completley different... Its rather disapointing.

I got this game since today

it's like totally awesome with the nunchuck and the wii remote but.. this multiplayer looks more like some kind of soul calibur

especially the whole fighting system

I think it should be like a match VS a boss..

however you would need split screen for that and that would give alot of critic too

I agree. It upsets me that Krome didn't make the Wii version a priority. It still looks like a decent game, but it could have been amazing if they put some time into it.

BTW, you can't compare a PC game to a console game. PCs have MASSIVE potential compared to consoles, especially newer ones. That's the reason that a lot of us aren't happy that this isn't being released on PC.

The graphics for the actual game are a LOT better than the ones shown here. Personally I think this review was still using the beta graphics released a long time ago. They've much improved since that point.

I have not looked it up or anything but usually in games when it comes to two players they lower the graphics and the physics for better response so maybe the physics where cut off only for the multiplayer. Anyway the wii was never for good graphics and metroid was created to be in the wii unlike this game so it makes sense that they are not going to rebuild the whole engine just so it will play better on the wii, so enjoy the game play because at the end thats what its all about. :)

Personally I'm not that impressed with the physics engine used in the PS3 and 360 versions of TFU. I mean sure it looks impressive how objects can move every which way, but from a gameplay standpoint, it's not anything that couldn't be done on the Wii or even the PS2 using ragdoll physics...it would just look a lot uglier and not as natural. The gameplay found in the PS3/360 versions of TFU will still be in the Wii version, just with uglier graphics but with the added benefit of motion controls.

To: waofy If you play the wii using the hd cables the graphics look much better, Also every game is going to have its drawbacks, but I do agree that videogame companies when releasing a game on multiple platforms seem to focus more on the next gen systems, in this case PS3 and 360, and don't really focus on making a great game on the other systems, in this case the wii. All you can do is wait for the game to come out and see if it gets positive reviews.

I really don't like how Jedi are using force lightning, isn't that a sith only power. Also I think they went way overboard with force lightning in this game, every clip I see is covered with a character using lightning. It's cool but they pushed it a bit too far. I'm getting this for the Wii btw.

i couldnt agree more. there lightsabers are as thin as toothpicks. I thought of the graphics being just as good as jedi outcast aswell. they definitely could have done better with the wii version. it could still be fun just not AS fun as the 360 and ps3 versions.

The entire game looks average on all platforms, the Wii version actually looks the most fun, at least it has multiplayer to ass some replay value, the other platforms version looks pretty dull. Plus it looks nothing like Jedi Knight 2, the actual Wii footage of the singleplayer mode looks only slightly worse than MP3, the duel mode looks worse I agree but singleplayer looks nicer for some reason.

Just as with everyone, good video, interesting points. However, the Wii's graphics are NEVER going to be close to the HD graphics the PS3 and 360 get, keep this in mind. Sorry but the Wii may be a next gen console, however, this doesn't necessarily include in the graphics department. The Wii is revolutionary in its controllers and cost. I'm sure if Nintendo wanted to make a console similar to the 360 and PS3, it would've cost twice as much and the Wii would've been twice the size.

Jedi Knight 2 was an alsome game for 2002 but it's grafix arn't as good as he showed it because the grafix are more blocky.

The Wii was my first console after years of PC gaming. Just because of the controlers and the mere possibilities.

Yet every new game coming out frustrates me more.

Nobody seems to want the full pontetial 'unleashed' ... Since it's mostly a ported game from another plattform all the Wiimote handling is reduced to some wiggling with the mote (I wonder when they will bring a "beat yourself off" game).

I realy hope TFU will be better than what we've seen so far.

Yeah, I agree. It's a lot to ask for though with just a little over a month before the release. The one thing I will say though is we haven't seen any clues as to how the singleplayer storyline will compare to the other versions, so I'm trying to be optimistic about that.

You raise some interesting points, but don't forget to keep in mind that those clips you saw are'nt the final version. The finished product will probally be better than what we've seen so far. I agree that the Wii is capable of better graphics and I know that these developers are putting alot of their effort into making the game look and feel the way it should.
