Orange UFO over Brisbane, Australia, 15 Aug 2009

Hello cookie had just finished work and got home about 1am on monday morning and saw the two red lights in close proximity was at cardseldine and it was to the right of mt cootha there was a fair bit of scattered cloud and they seemed to disappear into it. Did you see something similar around this time or was yours earlier?

last night, i was driving home with my girlfriend at albany creek when i saw these 4 orange lights, i thought they were stars until they started moving closer together :/

I would love for someone to reply to this... i live in albany creek just near the jinker track and was standing in my driveway tonight and saw what looked like exactly the same thing as this!! except there were 2 of them they didnt move that fast so defs not a meteor and they couldnt have been a chopper or plane or jet coz there were no flashing lights and it was dead silent and we couldnt hear a thing!...

we saw exactly the same thing - same night out at tamborine. there was two. it was fairly low by the time we saw it. it came towards us then went left and hovered for about 1 minute. 10 minutes later another came. My friend tried to video it but it didnt work. I have a dslr and have an image but its just on orange ball of light. The light was static, there was no flashing. it made no sound.

@missychop Seen another one since but it didn't video at all. Still don't know what it was - maybe a helicopter but a strange one. I doubt they are chinese lanterns - I think they are banned due to the bush fire threat (but I don't know!?).

i see that same light every night out at samford but it seems alot closer and brighter its there about 7 730 every night every one i show cant explain it. i thought maybe a chopper but as portantwas says there is no flashing lights and it moves around very slowly then just disappears. some times there is two but usually just the one. going to try get some video of it tonight

Wow my neighbour and i seen the exact same lights but 2 of them over Regents Park Brisbane 2nite 14th May 2011. My neighbour had his binoculars and up close they were like orbs and the light was also bright orange.

Looks like a ordinary satellite guys. You can google it. They orbit the earth in many different orbital states. Depending what kind and who they belong to such as gov. , phone co. , geologist, nasa, etc...

HOLY FUCK i live in ferny grove just saw that same kinda orange light coming from samford area but was below the mountains had no strobe lights flying very very slow wasn't a jet or RAAF plane thought someone had lit a fire on this hill but then i started to slowly move towards my location and move sharply to the east OMG

real ufos are alien technology. you are 100% correct. they are not of earth. I've known this for sometime (since the early 90's). They are capable of going faster than the speed of light and have free-energy capabilities.

This has been happening in Melbourne Aswell. They are UFO Star/Orbs that Transform into Planes. They will invade any time Soon.

me and my son have seen an object like this we watched on pass over our house at low altitude then rise and dissapear into a clear night sky.. no sound and definately not a lantern(as many people state) or a flare or any conventional craft known in the uk. good capture m8.

sorry to burst your bubble guys but it was the last night of the brisbane exhibition and there were skydivers with flares on,in the vicinity around 8.45 pm..which would explain the circular motion..as for the lights after that, there is a flight path that heads out over mt cootha for select choppers..

i believe in intelligent life outside our planet,and i also believe we have been visited by et's,but there alot of things that are easily explained away as natural occurances..it bugs me sometimes that some people think because there is somthing in the sky that they can't explain that it must be alien in origin..99% of the stuff on youtube is easily dismissed

It is possible, I supose, but the two flying over Mt Coot-tha were definitely not helicopters since they had no flashing red flight lights when I looked through my binoculars. Now unless they were skydivers with rocket packs....

there were strong winds that nite and depending on the type of parachute you use you can ride the wind currents and actually gain altitude,no different to hanggliding..i live under a flight path for small aircraft and it is hard to see there flashing lights until they are in close proximity..there lights are alot smaller than commercial jets..but hey, you never know..cheers

Yeah they are all around my place and one was a bit higher then my tree's no noise at all i could have hit it with a sling shot it was that low watch out for red lasers i have one on a ufo video and it's not a hoax video...

I wonder why there are so many sightings in the SE? I've seen an orange orb thing before last year, but couldn't pick it up on my camera. Also, thanks for your other comment about Project Blue Beam (for some reason your comment has since disappeared!). I'll look it up.
