  • one of the best videos ever

  • Any reason the Stones didn't come out for the final song.

  • 13 persons couldn´t let it be

  • Mc Cartney est vraiment sensationnel.

    Mc Cartney is really sensational.

  • @franckyjo01 Il est vraiment sérieux He's really serious This is not show business C'est pas bidon He is great God bless America ! and France Never forget

  • @Marthamydear2011 Personne n'oublie bien sur.

    Nobody forget of course.

  • Never forget... I know I wont. I will never forget where I was during the attack... God bless the victims and their families...

  • Now that is a band: Paul on piano, Billy Joel on keyboards and Eric Clapton on guitar solo. Man, if gives one MAJOR goosebumps!

  • TRULY with ALL my heart pray they make a DVD of this concert!!! I didn't get in on the very beginning. So I had to catch up on YouTube of a few of those performances. WOW!!!!!!! I was SO touched with the words or phrases in each of those songs performed that day & night. And with being overwhelmed by all of that (EXCEPT Bill Clinton!) - then Sir Paul TOTALLY and PERFECTLY pulled IT ALL together with his songs!!! God MUST have had his hand on all of this - to be SO BEAUTIFULLY WONDERFUL!!!

  • @MrSuperheli YEH WHAT HE SAID

  • who the fuck dared dislike this

  • should have done give peace a chance

  • @TheWalrus835 Good point

  • this is really touching RIP FDNY

  • "America has no greater ally than Great Britain". FUCK YEAH

  • Why would someone dislike this so many ppl died from the events 10 years ago and this was absoulutely amazing

  • Who wants to be loved?

  • I watched this concert yesterday. It was on in October, 2001. I loved it.

  • God rest in peace all the souls lost ahead of their time! Love, ~Sharon

  • Amazing

  • This video brings tears to my eyes. God bless all those who were affected by the events of 10 years ago.

  • thanks pauly for this. you were there you understand how it was. RIP to all those impacted on 9-11 we love and miss u

  • La canción del dia:

Hoy hace diez años, cuando ni imaginabas que algo asi pudiera ocurrir...

  • 13 dislikes ? must be Osama Bin Ladens' surviving family members...

  • <3

  • I just loves how when Clapton starts playign everyone on the stage turns to look at him.

Fantastic performance overall, a great act after that tragedi that sadly brought the world together.

  • is that jim carrey? 7:20

  • when paul said "Eric Clapton!", the only thought in my head was " of course! only way to make this better is to let God on stage"

  • i remember where i was when 9 11 happened middle school 6th grade art class

  • well, we have earned the right to be family. Hopefully this will never change. That would be a sad day for this world.

  • to our american brothers, you know who your REAL friends are

  • Mother Mary, its about his Mum. And its the greatest song ever.

  • I understand Macca's motivation to write this ...but what hit the spot with that audience was Bowie's Heroes and the jaw dropping performance by The Who with 'Won't Get Folled Again really hitting the mark.' I'm not knocking Paul for a minute, his heart was in the right place.

  • Paul has this special unique gift that he captures somehow the essence of what humans have to go through, because he himself is a great human being, you know?, it has to come from a person who has that kind of caring about humanity in his heart

  • "LET IT BE" What a charimatic song it is!!!! Salute to Sir Paul McCartney.

  • how can anybody possibly dislike this??? so what if you dont like the song, this was the concert following the biggest attack on the us in history, whoever disliked this apparently has no respect for those who almost died in the attack, and thankfully survived (my dad being one of them) and those who did die, risking their lives to save others or even america for that matter, you 13 who disliked this disgust me...

  • isnt it kind of weird that alot of people that arent americans are playing and only a handful of american artists are performing?

  • @germino777 Isn't that great, though? All it did was strengthen our bond and show foreign support for the U.S. in times of trouble.

  • A lot of Brits performing at this concert; just illustrates the unique relationship between the UK and the US

  • @Boccherini64 Thats because we are family

  • @TheRogerb71 and family sticks togher no matter what

  • I Love how he just throws the guitar like its just a ball at 3:28 :p

  • its funny to see billy joel in the keyboards on the backgroun lol

  • The only word that comes to mind is Magic

  • From 3:27 to 3:32 you get to watch Paul throw his priceless guitar.... across the stage.... with one hand...... that was caught by one hand...... AT LEAST it didn't fall......

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad Lennon didn't live to see 9-11. That would have messed his mind up big time.

  • Thanks Paul.

"Anyone who wants to take it away will have to answer." Yes, yes he did. He definitely answered for what he did.

  • I love how a lot of the artists at this concert weren't Americans...just goes to show how much America means to the world

  • I want to know who disliked this video! I want their names!

  • @JDBeatlefan It was members of The taliban. I hope they know how to swim.

  • @manbigus Haha, I didn't even think about that. You're probably right.

  • @djtimkeeewl I agree what a great moment to be next to Paul, who always had his feet on the ground but rises above us with his music...

  • this is the lowest point of his career.

  • @kralle7611 This was many of his HIGH POINTS. It was his imagination that put the concert together.

  • The best part about Paul McCartney is that despite fame and fortune on an unimaginable level he kept his feet on the ground. I regret not meeting a true world treasure when I had a fleeting chance at one of his concerts out west.

  • A lot of people were afraid to be in NY at this time so I was so glad to see these singers there.

  • Outr of such pain came this moment of healing, the ultimate jam session in rock history.. Paul McCartney on lead vocals, Billy Joel on keyboard, Eric Clapton on guitar, Sheryl Crowe, Roger Daltrey, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Melissa Etheride, James Taylor, Jim Carrey, Salma Hayak, Billy Crystal and Richard Gere on backing vocals. Let it be....

  • I can't hear this without shedding a tear of happyness...Paul will discount this but I believe he is God's gift to our generation....

  • @jah9595 I agree. I think and hope Paul will be around for a long time. I believe God wants him to do his work for as long as possible. I am from NY and always was a Paul fan so I was not surpised he would do this concert for us.

  • Paul is truly one of the most talented artists to grace this fine thing we called 'earth'.. God bless him and this great music he helped to create!

  • This is much more than music and lyrics - this is what we live for.

  • This is Paul singing as if he were the son of an Irish-American Fireman on 9/11/01, there exists such a Man, is Name is John Bolton! Dr. Shalit

  • Ladies and gentle let me introduce to you one of the most powerful moments in American music history. Enjoy.

  • I pity those people who can't even find peace and get along in sad moments and times like these

  • did anyone else see how Paul threw his guitar at his roadie at 3:23 Can you imagine how nervous you'd be? What if you dropped it?

  • @QueenBeatlesWings That roadie (that is his personal assistant) almost had a heart attack when Paul almost let drop his HOFFNER BASS during Ringo's birthday bash. Just check here in Youtube the video.

  • OMG Abe has hair haha looks odd

  • not keen on mc cartney myself,he is a bit too full of himself for me,however he did go out and support new york in his way ,and wether you like him or not,he is the most successfull songwriter in history, nuff said

  • WOW This brings tears to my eyes, just to see all those that came to honor NYC,

Just look at the talent on that stage, many from England; the best of the best,

Paul McCartney is a class act, to put this together. What a gem.

  • I would put PM singing Yesterday as the best moment of this concert - err that is if the Who just happened to not be there.

  • @RonyMexico What kind of miserable person are you?

  • @RonyMexico But at one time he was just as loved as the rest so please dont go on here and down him. Go to Sugarland's page and have at them because they are the fa*s ;)

  • @Oceanbigcat317 yeah, right, tell your story walking

  • @RonyMexico I wasnt being rude just a question. How do you believe music would be if John Lennon was still alive? Me personally it would be a whole lot different in a good way.

  • @Oceanbigcat317 i believe music would be better if lennon were with us, i think he had an appeal to our conscience that wasn't condescending, but uplifting, mccartney has no clue how to do that, lennon was a genius

  • @RonyMexico I agree. To say he was ahead of his time would be an understatement. No wonder his killer is kept in prison. It's really to keep him safe from the Lennon fans that are still pissed at him. ;)

  • @Oceanbigcat317 i have my own conspiracy theory on john's asassination, but the cyberpolice probably would squrlch my statements, but my wife and i would be first in line to have at chapman

  • 13 people are stupid

  • How in the world can a song like this, performed like this, with this much love and thought ever get ANY dislikes? Pretty damn sad if you ask me..

  • Fuck, I cannot believe Clapton just improv-ed that second solo.

  • think evryone needed some mccartney love

  • god bless américa...great vid thank you!McCartney rocks...

  • let it be - rememberance of the beatles...

  • i actually got to meet Sir Paul over the summer. He came to shop in my store's Hampton location where I was cashier. It was so surreal to look up and see Sir Paul on my line. Had a minor freak out in my head. Rang him up said "Have a nice day" then when he left I went out back and started screaming like a loon. Never mind that I'm 27 and the Beatles were before my time

  • By the way ask yourself why Paul McCartney is holding onto a Ram's horns on his album 'RAM' cover. This is Satanism just as with Prince William holding up a sheep and grabbing its hoof (Pan). This is why Tavistock created the word 'kid' as a term for a baby/young human being. A kid is a baby goat. Why? So you're a Kid of Satan and no longer a Child of God. Satan being housed by the constellation of Capricorn symbolized with the Goat of Mendes. All of course as we enter the Age of Aquarius.

  • A big sign of British strength was put on in the British dominated New York City. Why? After their defeat at the hands of FRANCE who gave them payback for trying to assassinate Jacque Chirac in 25 July 2000 whilst attacking France's income in the aircraft industry. A nice Russian P700 Granit missile was left sticking deep within the Pentagon with a message attached that next time it will be far worse. This is when the Doomsday plane went up. The Granit was stolen from the Kursk sinking.

  • @anunnaki2006 get your bullshit off these videos.

  • @itstristanyo Oh right its you again the male lacking in cognitive function enjoying everything that the Tavistock throw at him to socially engineer him and divert his attention whilst evil nobles and crooks steal all his wealth, dignity and nation from under him. You ever realized you no longer have a Country? That where you live is a corporation controlled by the United Nations under their Charter? I doubt you know this or eve care your a looser in a society of zombies which ruin everything

  • McCartney is a product of the Tavistock Institute which social engineers the populace on a daily basis believing it is the trend setter creating words like kids instead of Children and so forth. Why does anyone want to be controlled like this? Why does anyone like lame McCartney who's a false farce and in truth dire compared to others. The Kinks and others were much better than the Beatles (scarab symbolism of Egypt). Wake up to this NOW

  • If John was alive he would FREAK that Paul wrote a song like this

  • Mccartney = GENIUS

  • @rockshow21 Genius?Go look at who created his 'Guiding Star' role for social engineering. This will lead you to Tavistock yet again as usual. These are geniuses who utilise the hertz cycles of the TV at specific rates to induce you into hypnosis so these social engineering soldiers can go to war with your mind downloading to you via your subconscious exactly what they want you to believe in and follow.McCartney was all about the drugs in preparation for the Post Industrial Zero Growth Society

  • Ooooo....I'm so glad you have a passport. Please leave but first shove it up your fucking ass. You'd probably like it though. And learn to spell by the way you little prick. Douchebag.

  • @malt8291 listen i'm no flag waving blind american who thinks everything we do is right. But to say that people agree with the cowardly acts of the terrorist on 9/11 is dispicable. You should be ashamed my friend, passport or no passport you should be ashamed. Wether you think so or not, you are the ignorant one.

  • GOD! McCartney, Thowsend, Clapton...

  • We have here an Englishman, who has the humanity to have written a song, due to the fact that he was impacted by the events of 9/11 enough to organize a concert to honor those who have fallen, those who survived and those who were left behind.

  • "Eric Clapton! Come on Eric do a solo!"

  • the brits took that night over

  • 6:08 is my favorite part

  • Whoever voted dislike is insane and probably has the morals Hitler

  • Don't forget the Emergency Medical Service people that died that day. And all the ones who were there after that day.

  • Nothing but Class All of the People here. Paul is such a great helper for the world

  • This guy's music is the soundtrack to my life. "give peace a chance" may be a great sentiment but as the man said " I will fight for the right to live in freedom"-- Sometimes you gotta stand up and fight.

  • Why the fuck would 10 fucking people dislike this video?Thats 10 people too many ! You 10 people best be living out of the U.S.A cause if your in it,then you are truly a disgrace.

  • @StephanieMarieGirl96 -- Probably 10 terrorists, and they're pissed that our country was able to rebound in such an amazing way.

  • @StephanieMarieGirl96 oh shut up many ppl agree with the 9/11 attacks. As a country we got what we deserved..We have done much worse to other nations.Your blind worship of the usa ia pathetic,.

  • @malt8291 Anybody who thinks we got what we deserved is full of @#$%. We did nothing to deserve this. It was an unprovoked attack. A true Patriot, a True American knows that we did nit do anything to deserve this. If you are an American you should leave the country and go hide because you would be a disgrace to America.

  • @manbigus its dumb flag waving americans like u that make ppl want to kill us..You r to blame.I live in the world,i have a passport, i`ll bet u r one of the 80% who have no passport.Live the country once in a while and u will get a worldly view..

  • @malt8291 Yeah I don't think your getting away with that. Innocent people died simple as that. It wouldn't make it "right" if the US was bombing the entire middle east it just would be another wrong. Saying that, I'm a big Paul McCartney fan but I do find this freedom song a bit too nationalistic.

  • @malt8291 "If you're ashamed of your colors, you best find a different flag" what type of asshole are you? how can you sympithize these people? Guess what I've got a passport too and I've been out of the country so shove that passport up your ass and get the fuck out of America! pro-terrorists aren't welcome here

  • @manbigus

America pays almost all the dictators in the middle east. Nobody deserves a attack like 9/11, no one. But he USA pay the bills of the most horrible people in the world, they must stop with that.

And people like Bin Laden (and Bush) are criminals, who deserve to be in prison.

  • @malt8291

You feel like that you can go to Canada and renounce your American citizenship as far as I'm concerned.

  • @malt8291 are you muslim by any chance?

  • Great song for great people.... :)

  • I give him respect for him referring to what happened that day as the attack and not "the tragedy" like everyone was calling it in the media and the other celebrities on stage that night.

  • :'('' This song could not have been anymore appropriate.

  • @4midfielder

I know i was sort of crying while watching this

  • Macca!

  • A plethora of mega superstars all on one stage with the Grand Master leading the way. Absolutely AMAZING moment that gives me chills everytime!

  • great concert but if they would've finished with hey jude and every1 singin tht would have been amazing

  • Paul Mcartney is a really legend, an inmortal that I can´t understand how is alive!!!!!

  • If Paul's heart is truly into something he is the greatest songwriter in the history of the world.

  • Eric Clapton should Join Paul McCartney's band.- they'd be great together and they could have Ringo drumming.

  • wow- that bald guy is James Taylor- the famous musician!

  • only paul mccartney could write a great song like that on the spot!!!!

  • Great night of the great for the great ---

its not only the music - it's the message behind !!!!!

  • I agree; if I could go back in time, I would have gone to this concert.

    GOD BLESS AMERICA!

  • He threw the guitar in an amazing way after freedom, I had never seen Paul doing this. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • paul eres el numero uno del rock and roll XD para siempre los beatles seran los reyes tu fan numero uno

  • Awesome ,listen to Paul .let it be America !!!

  • clapton along with hendrix......are the best guitarist ever

  • were is jim carrey?

  • @princev11 behind and kinda to the right of Paul in a suit with some kids and Selma Hayek.

  • No more drinking games in the UK. More freedom lost. People who think they are free in the west are delusional.

  • HELL YES ERIC CLAPTON IS A GOD! Wonderful video so emotional and just sensational

  • Sensacional!

  • P.S. LOL did he showed the crowd SOMETHING with the finger LOLOLOLOLOL !!!!! at 3:45 watch CAREFULLY LOL

  • Wow, really? It was obviously his index finger, not the middle one. Grow up buddy.

  • pause it there, it isn't his middle finger.

  • MAN did u see how he threw that guitar at 3:28 ...NUTS i thought he would drop it but seriously SIR Paul McCartney is a genius !!!

  • the english and usa stand together for ever brothers in arms

  • I heard McCartney even stopped by one firehouse personally to deliver tickets.

  • A Canadian proud? No go on. lol. jk. Go Canada.

  • you see paul throw that guitar, still a rockstar!

  • Paul McCartney was on a plane on the runway at JFK when the attack came. He had to wait and watch while the Towers burned. He did a great job organizing the concert and did a good job performing . . . but of course the Who stole the show . . . the thing that I regret is that John Lennon wasn't there. He absolutely loved NYC and would have been the first to pay his respect to the NYPD, FDNY, and the rest of NYC at this concert.

  • @rewood3 Paul is a great songwriter (though this song is a little bit too sappy for me) and this concert had some truly great performers, but there is no show the Who can not steal.

  • @Ylviste agree ... this song IS too sappy... a bad habit Paul has .... and the Who CAN steal any show.. they owned the stage that night.

  • What a great show!!! And what a great display as TunesNorth says....I love Paul's comment about his Dad being in WWII.....my Dad was also there for 4 years during WWII as a proud Canadian!!!

  • Terrific display of American Pride and Unity.

Paul can be very proud of that video. So can I !

    A Proud US Navy Veteran!

p.s. That's like the biggest drummer I've ever seen!!!

  • Paul McCartney is God's gift to us all - he has so much class to put something like this together (and he did most of the leg work in getting this entire concert together). Never mind the incomparable body of work left by the Beatles, Paul himself continues to be one of the most classy, selfless, and down to earth people. When he does something or writes something, it's real. He means it. Whether having fun with a good rock 'n roll tune, or a serious event like this. He has such a genuine heart.

  • @1olrocker ... Agree.... but lets consider.... who would say no to him?

  • @1olrocker This the first time I've heard "Freedom". Beautiful. But "Let It Be" - always a favourite makes me cry.

  • Comment removed

  • Clapton : 7'33'' =====} The king

  • Impossible not to get emotional watching this.

  • what a most thrilling perfomance at a most devastating time..thank you paul and thank you nyc!

  • 9-11-01/9-11-09 : Love & Peace in the world... fabulous songs with Paul.

  • To this day i get goosebumps after hearing let it be on this video. So many legends here...Man this is bliss.....

  • does anybody know the attendance number when Paul McCartney opened up the new Texas Stadium aka "Jerry's World"

  • let it be was great

  • Who is the guitarist which plays the solo on the first track "Freedom"?

  • it's called Rusty Anderson, the lead guitarist in Paul's band today
