@amaroq69 the banks should have gone bankrupt. the main reason they had problems is because they made risky and stupid deals expecting government bailouts if they failed. they were also forced to make bad home loans because the government forced them to. this lead to our current problems. the fucked up thing is our government are doing the same things to try and fix it. with tax credits and government backed loans more people that cant afford home loans are getting them.
